  1. Also the number of times that Cameron et al had meetings with members of Murdoch empire when the whole BSkyB bid was happening.

you do know that Ed meet Murdoch the same number of times as Osborne over the same period don't you :-)

Makes a change from blaming the weather I suppose?

interestingly the figures show us that Warm weather in April boosted spending on hotels and restaurants :-)

The growth was in line what what economists expected ( and not the ones you spoke to who predicted interest rate rises in 2010 :winkold: ) ..personally i'd rather a growth even if it is a small one than Ed Balls in charge of the economy :-)

You do know who the Torrie party represent dont you and whos interest's they look out for...!

One of the Fisrt policies was NOT to :-

    - Make schools better

    - Make the NHS Better

    - increase Social Mobility.

It was a tax break for the rich....!

    Good old Torries.

Sell some more Gold (With regards to Brown) - Where did you read that that the Daily Mail.....!

How could Ed Balls possibly not do a better Job that Gideon...!

  2. Those who voted Torrie are going to truely find out what a Torrie goverment is all about unless they are very wealthy...!

What about those that voted Tory :winkold:

It depends what your ethics and Morals are I guess....!

But I would love to know why you vote for them, its not really worth it unless you mega rich...!

  3. i think i agree with awol on that

but i still think all useless as each other

    some more than others...!

Not every one would have done this!

    University Fees are now - 9 000.

Public sector - pay freeze for 3 prob 5 years....!

Schools - Limited money to be spent on the NHS and education.

Banks not hit with high levi rates - as they are all friends with the prime minister.

Growth Economy - Slowed right down, Dont expect any thing to change in the distant future.

  4. Are there actually any David Cameron Fans in here....?

He is the least worst option for PM right now when compared with Nick "I still want to join the Euro" Clegg, or Ed "the big boys stole my lunch money" Miliband. That's not to say Cameron isn't a smug, arrogant word removed and slipperier than a greased pig.

Observing quite how messed up things in the UK are at the moment is painful/shameful. If joe public can be persuaded to put down the TV remote for long enough then the seeds are being sown for a sea change in politics, but looking at the way other European countries are moving that may not necessarily be for the good.

Least Worst Option for Prime Minister....are you seroius...?

Or are you a multi millionaire or something...?

Have you seen what he has done in terms of cuts to the most vulnerable in Society( Elderly, Disabled, Poorest, Pregnant mothers, people in hopsitals)

What Cameron Knows about the average person, fairness and equality you can right on a grain of rice with a marker pen

And you have the audacity to say there is not a better leader....!

The deficit is being massively hyped and it typical Fits in nicely with the Torrie True Blue ideology.

Those who voted Torrie are going to truely find out what a Torrie goverment is all about unless they are very wealthy...!

  5. General,

As always thanks for your continued commitment on these boards its appreciated. I personally think AM will be able to do a stern job at the club and will surprise a few supporters.

I was wandering the board set some objectives roughly 5 years ago for ambitions of the club, which correct me if I am wrong was to finish in the top four champions league in a five year plan.

Now the five years have passed have the board reviewed these objective and what have they concluded?

What are the specific objectives for this season, or the next 5 years are they still Champions League...?

With regards to the UEFA Financial Fair play rule Manchester City have just signed an estimated lucrative 400 Million deal for their stadium and shirts rights over 10 years. Arsenal signed a similar deal 90 million over 15 years.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jul/12/arsenal-manchester-city-premier-league

Both Arsene Wenger and some of the Directors at Liverpool have expressed their concern at the integrity of this deal and whether or not the deal is within the average Market value.

It would be fantastic to hear your wisdom and views on this. What do the boards think about this....?

I really hope that the UEFA fair play rule helps to make it a level playing field.

As in my opinion the PL FA CUP, CL are becoming a tad boring – irritating, mostly seeing the same standard teams Chelsea, Manchester United, City dominating it year after year, as they have done for the last decade.

General you really are a legend and it would be great to hear back from you with regards to the questions above.

    Up the Villa.

  6. For me its Delph that looks our greatest young player so far.

Followed closely by Clarke and Albrighton.

I think its very important to have a good back room team when producing these players. McDonald does a great job bringing them on and its good to have the consistency.

We has Robertson Under O Neil who was a genius with the likes of Ashley Young, Milner and co. Any one know who Mcleish has.

  7. Does anyone know how much wages they are paying him....?
With the money they're throwing around probably something ridiculous like £100k p/w.

    lol, probably

they've spent like 70-80 million on carroll, downing, henderson and adam. thats just crazy considering the ability of the players they have bought.

I know I wander How they will get around the UEFA financial fair play rule...?

  8. Really keen for this fixture. I have heard its one of the best away fixtures/ if any other amazing Villa fans wanted to sell 3 tickets that would be supercalafradge..........!
