Went in to the make shift ticket office today to get my season ticket refunded from an adult to student one... They didn't say as much but I guaged from what they were saying / reaction there may potentially be something announced next week. Take it with a pinch of salt all you like, but I got the impression that something is due, just nobody knows exactly when. As pointless as that sounds!

Cabeye is still living half his time in Paris. Crystal Palace makes sense as he can live in London on training and match days and on his days off be back in Paris within an hour or two. It was always going to be a London club for that reason, and then Pardew was just the seal of the deal

I really wish he'd have just said nothing. Why do players feel the need to talk to the press so freely?
One minute they are too closed, next minute they are too free in the press. Bloke is just saying the advice he gave a friend. Simple. If Delph goes, he goes. If Benteke goes he goes. Both our best players leaving would be a nightmare. But whats pissing me off is the constant media speculation on both players when quite frankly it seems nothing actually seems to be happening. Rant over.

Thought I would be able to get them Friday, I've done 8 but my sister has done 7 so will probably have to wait till monday. However... when I have rang before they have definitely counted pre-season games aswell as Premier League games. Worth a gamble?

Right had some ITK passed today. Source is a mate of mine who isn't even a villa fan. Claims his partner works as part of the legal team. Documents have all been signed since last Thursday and will be officially announced on Wednesday.
He had no idea who the buyer was
swear somebody touted the 7th / 8th as an announcement due about the take over? I've been telling a couple of mates this was the date something was going to be announced. Could be right mate!

Why wouldnt people have him as first choice when he provides assists
This is simply why he needs to play. We didn't create at the best of times last season, Bacuna is an assist provider. Coleman and Baines aren't the best defensively, going forward when on song are brilliant.
1st Choice RB next year?
I hope not, I don't think he's good enough.
He's almost 24 and he's still 'raw'. That's not boding well.
I'd rather haw a player who is 'raw' and be a bit exciting than some boring oldhead who doesn't take risks going forward.

This was completely my reaction. Our biggest transfer fee spent in the past few seasons was Nzogbia and Benteke wasn't it? Can't believe we are actually going to spend something! Beats trying to get excited over 3 free transfers last summer!

I think that's a bit harsh. It's not as good as a few years ago with players like Suarez, Vertonghen or Eriksen, but the top teams are still better than championship standardsCarroll has potential but I always feel he is an idiot that he turned down spell on loan at Ajax for a role at QPR
I think he was correct there, Dutch football is Championship standard at best IMO. Ajax have a nice big stadium but that's about it. Even Dutch people don't talk about Dutch football much.
PSV's team is full of potential too. Like the left back Willems and attacking mid Maher. Not to mention Depay is at United. There is a big central striker too called Locadia, looks a bit of a beast, didn't have such a good goalscoring record last season mind. Dutch football is a lot better than the Championship. Wouldn't mind a couple of players from the Dutch league. After all, that is where Bouma came from!

If he leaves after saying that, he's going to look terrible. Like when Barry said he would only leave for CL and at the time City weren't. For this reason alone I don't think he would leave.

I am brummy born and bread but parents moved down here, still have family in Lincoln. Used to go to loads of Lincoln games with me Dad when I wasn't a STH at the Villa.

Lincoln is my second team too! University reasons for me, so much so it's the only football shirt other than Villa I've ever bought - the season they were sponsored by the Uni...and got relegated from the league!
That was a horrible year and I was there when we were relegated, never seen my Dad so gutted. This is the year we return!

A gut feeling if I am honest. It felt like he knew but didn't want to say too much. Said something could be announced at any time, which could tie with when the shop and ticket office becomes busier / open... to which I thought the kit is on sale this weekend and the ticket office officially opens next week (putting 2 and 2 together here I am on the basis of a bit of PR / ticket selling)... He probably knows jack shit ! And I certainly know jack shit!
