Summary from Monday night - No Mungo
Mungo Bridge (Annecy) 3rd/18
Home to Concarneau (0-0) - Not in the squadWithout having much information on this loan...amazed he hasn't been recalled given the amount of others that have been.
Yeah, it's an extremely weird loan in the first place. Maybe his great aunt lives there or something?

He's great at hustling the opposition out of possession and driving forward with the ball if he has the space to turn, but he's really bad at passing and moving, which causes our play to get mired in the middle third when the opposition is pressuring and either has to go back or go wide/long. JJ and Sanson are both more active when it comes to moving into space to receive passes, while SJM tends to just hang around in the area he passed from.

I recant two of these.

Dumb game. Dumb team. Dumb sport.
See you next week.

Down to a shit goal vs United? Color me shocked.
Also, Ollie is good off it, but has no idea what to do once actually in possession of a football. Ings, otoh, is good on it, but can't seem to compete enough physically. Kinda wonder if we need to be eyeing a more complete forward who can mix it with defenders better.

Lost every bit of creativity we had when he went off.

Rafinha has gone on loan to Real Sociedad for the season so the gossips will have to find some new players to link us with.
Sad, he's one I would've liked to see here, BUT....... does that mean we can finally loan Januzaj?

He's a true winger, is he not? Probably needs a loan for the rest of the season given the system we're playing now, but we're so short on bodies, the club might not want to let him go.

He's put in a few bad dives before (which seemed to start after they took the legit pen off him vs Brighton last year), but this one was impressively ridiculous.

Saw that old sloppiness setting in towards the end of the first and knew the script. We still have some kind of mentality problem where we lose our focus and edge when something doesn't go our way. Need someone on the pitch who can settle things down and direct traffic, so to speak, but we don't really have anyone who fits that bill.

It's been 4 years and He's back at Dortmund with only 6 starts this year... Has something gone wrong for him or is he just deputising boy-wonder in Bellingham?
Muscle injuries. Would fit right in here. Great player, though.

Great play at times in the first half, but Ollie has to make better decisions and be sharper in the box. Cash pen was pointless, he has to be smarter there. Then, whatever the halftime talk was, it was rubbish. Came out slow, didn't react to their changes in time, then took the wrong players off just as we were getting back into the game. Konsa has a case that Lukaku's arm sends him to ground in the first place, but those will always be given to the Sky 6.
Overall verdict: Should've stayed in bed.

Sands is a good young player but nowhere close to Prem standard at the moment imo, needs to go to Germany or the like for a couple years at least.

Guardian have him down as Villas player who needs a Jan move. References his game this week and the fact he hasn't been in the first team. He may well need a move but the writer of the article seems oblivious to the fact he has has a major injury....
Yeah, January would be too soon. I can see one of the big Turkish clubs being interested in Summer if he can prove his fitness.

Raikhy is doing well isn’t he?
He was, but picked up an injury and seems to have been in and out of the squad since.

That save is up there with Guzan vs QPR for one of the best I've ever seen in real time. Phenomenal.
Regarding his kicking, it's been off for a while now, but I can't help feeling part of the issue is he's been told to kick towards the flanks to prevent the ball coming back at us centrally where we lack height... but we also lack height in wider areas and the ball is never going to stick like it did to Joe Gresford. He also looks to throw it out quickly to start a counter several times per match when he claims, but we never seem to have anyone showing for it.

N Isimat-Mirin ??
Will make a good VT code name for him to confuse new members in a few years.

Shambolic decision aside, we need our midfield to support the attack better, when it's getting up to Buendia and Watkins, they have no real options and have to either wait and be pressured and/or play it backwards.

Making massive business decisions based solely on a single letter, now that's a gimmick I can get behind.

Will score his first and only PL hat trick against us if we sell him to another Prem side, guaranteed.

Came on around the 80th minute, so didn't have time to do much, but looked to get involved, won a couple important fouls in Colombia's half with quick thought and quick feet which helped relieve pressure.
