  1. Close look at the replay shows Yaya played the ball .... just about.
  2. If Barca were to somehow get a goal, then Chelsea would have to come forward and attack even more and leave themselves open at the back. This is still a finely balanced game!
  3. Barcelona giving us all a lesson in how not to work a free kick there.
  4. It is extremely difficult to play against a team that aren't interested in anything apart from putting 11 men behind the ball. It will be extremely tough for Barca to get back into this now. Chelsea can afford to do what they did in the first leg now. Wonderful stuff when a boring team of money grabbing tossers gets to the final...... I hope Barca can pull something out of the bag. Completely agree with you, although, like Chelsea Man Utd etc Barcelona should be used to having teams want to defend against them. They just don't seem to have any ideas. They play in a league where defending isn't massively popular though. They're usually allowed to just run rampant as and when they choose.
  5. I think Barca's best bet is to use their pace going forward on the counter-attack. If Chelsea get a corner and they bring Terry and Alex up for it, and Barca can somehow intercept and get the ball ... thatll be their biggest chance.
  6. Didn't they win the League Cup in 63?
  7. Ooh, Millwall-Leeds on Saturday on Sky. I predict a riot.
  8. I'm 99% sure they are full brothers. Thats what I thought. Yaya seems twice as big as Kolo tho. Maybe he ate his vegetables and chicken wings. Kolo is like 6ft himself, but Yaya is rather large. Half Time at The Bridge.
  9. I'm not slagging them off, I'm just saying they're capable of making mistakes. They've done it a few times this season.
  10. And if any team are capable of a horrible mistake, it's this Chelsea side.
  11. Chelsea have been reading "How to beat Barcelona over 2 legs - by Sir Alex Ferguson". Im sure they havent. Well the way they've played so far in the tie, its clear that Mr Hiddink is trying to replicate what Mr Ferguson did last season.
  12. Chelsea have been reading "How to beat Barcelona over 2 legs - by Sir Alex Ferguson".
  13. Drogba was looking for the first excuse to go down, so when Abidal came across him, he was always going to do whatever he could to get himself fouled.
  14. Definitely not a penalty imo. Just a coming together in the box between Alvez and Drogba, not enough contact if any, to warrant Drogba going down.
  15. Erm well you wont, because Vidic wont let them anywhere near our trophy. :winkold:
  16. Hmm, Zidanes was better than Essiens though because he had more turning to do to get it on target whereas Essien was pretty much running at it straight-on. Both great goals mind you.
  17. That as well.... both pretty similar really. Essien's goal was on same side of the pitch as the Rooney one mind you. I happen to remember the Rooney one because I was sat above it.
  18. Fat Frank Lamptard should've made it 2.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6wO3HhOu6Y Like this.... Exactly like this actually.
  20. Typical "big four" fan. Change your team as often as you change your socks! Well, I'll support anyone against Chelsea. And what an amazing goal from the only Chelsea player I actually like, Michael Essien!
  21. --------------------Valdez------------------ Alvez-----Pique--------Toure-------Abidal -------------------Busquets----------------- -----------Xavi-----------Keita-------------- ---------------------------------------Iniesta -----Messi-----------Etoo------------------- I agree its a bizarre lineup though. More to the point, who's Busquets?
