  1. Hause is not the best player in the world but what i like about him is he give's you all he has got, the foul had no intent compared to the attempted assault by livermore. You can see that he has worked at his craft and improved from last season so let's hope it continue's and we have a decent back up.

  2. To me beating the teams around us is so important, because with our first 11 we can win games, but when we get into injurie's and bans and start having to use the squad it might be the games we look at and not the liverpools of this league. The win some lose some approach can be a big difference when you tally the point's up and you can bet the opposition will target games.

  3. Thats the game's to win, having to grind out a result and making the most of what you got is a sign of progress. We knew we had to tighten it up and dean had the answers, knowing we had to win the battle and addressing it. The introduction of ramsey was a factor just for his energy and nuisance value and the  SJM trick for the penalty made the day, well done Dean not a classic but a great little win. The ref is Mariah  Oh the ref is Mariah  .

  4. Most want to beat the teams around them, yes it's nice to beat the liverpools and arsenals but the brightons are more or less 6 Pointers and could make the difference at the end of the season. Survival is the aim and a mid table slot would be nice, but you have to target your rivals for that slot and that sort of game will always be a battle. Was that the new plan B saturday sub the sub?

  5. We all want smith to do well, but i am still trying to work out what the Traore start was about, when to me this game was always going to be a battle. The internationals seem to have an effect on our side, some are still in party mood, some  seem to have elavated themselves to above the graft and hard work and responsibility for the team. Leadership is so important in a team and the leicester team had Huth and wes morgan in it apart from a few stars and when the going got tough they stepped up.

  6. Thought it was a definite penalty in my view but our defending for the two goals was abysmal. Schoolboy defending for the first, 10 yards into their half and acres of space behind to knock any sort of ball into  and the second was our old fatal trick of not defending the D line area. People call them wonder goals, but in fact they are free shot's at goal which we deal out far to easily. We need a defensive brain in there to organise these players and cut out our problems in defence.

  7. Greatest ever is hard put on a player when you cannot tackle these days, the way players stand off and back away just did not happen back in the days they were to willing to chop your legs off. I will always have God in a special place, but for me Tony Morley was our best ever because they were out to hurt you then and just staying on the pitch was an major achievement. Jack has to be our best player now and we should all enjoy him and admire his skills but we are an injury away from being a bit light weight in their.

  8. That was wonderful to watch last night, all credit to dean and the boys they got a grip of the game and never let up. The work rate from the middle three made the difference and gave Watkins the service in the area to do the damage.

  9. My big issue with zonal marking is it gives the option of leaving it to somebody else, how often do you see two centre half's standing with their arms down, saying that was your job. It was so easy with man marking you knew who to pick up. Any decent attacking giant is heading for the small guy to make his advantage even greater. Why leave decisions in the  grey area when you can nominate in the dressing room.

  10. Most teams when they build start with the defence first, we were only interested in forwards and spent the money there. This team has needed a leader for quite some time, we made do with our best player and left the defence to a bunch of ball watchers who's reaction rate is as quick as paint drying. With a leader come's organization and responsibility, what happen's  in training is a mystery because no one know's their job's and we are picked apart far to easily. The only decent thing today was Southampton got on the team bus at half time, job done.
