  1. When did Randy say he didnt love the club? Talk is cheap. Actions speak louder.
  2. nice I know but what's the alternative? Mindlessly handing over money when they have committed the biggest betrayal of Villa fans in my lifetime? There are things Aston Villa Football Club should never do. Tapping up the manager of Birmingham City is one of them. Yes, it´s probably best to take it out on your son... He is a kid FFS. Exactly, it's your **** kid. He's a kid, if you usually buy him a shirt and were planning too this season, why should that be stopped?? you care more about Villa appointing a manager you don't like? :? So what do you do then? Just keep doling out the money as if nothing has happened? For me, it becomes a matter of principle. What do I do? well personally speaking, I keep going to Villa, I think this is a dire choice of management but I'm a fan of Aston Villa, I don't think any manager would stop me going from full stop or buying Villa shirts. Clearly you don't want to do that, so fair enough, your thoughts but why take it on your son? You honestly would rather see your son upset because he can't get a shirt, just because you don't like a manager at Villa? I think that's quite sad, should be proud of being a Villa fan, not telling him he can't go to games or buy any stuff because you don't like the manager. Might as well just support another club to be honest. Love how some of you lot think you've got an opinion on how he should treat his son. His money, his lad, he can do what the **** he wants if he feels that way. Jesus. Top post.
  3. This is Birmingham, not the leafy lanes of Kent. Poor language isnt a barometer of integrity. There was no violence, no vandalism and I haven't heard of any arrests. I am afraid that poor language chanted en masse is a barometer, unless you believe that there are no decent people in Birmingham and that our women, children and old people should be subjected to this kind of thing. Poor language? You having a giraffe? What do hear at every match across the country? Right?? And that makes it right does it?? No. But as a barometer, it's a mute **** point. As all people attending football must be of a lower class. Kabish?

  5. Wenger Mancini Ancelotti Mourinho Benitez Hiddink I think he meant which we could employ right now. How many of them 'had proven themselves in the prem' when appointed in the prem?
  6. Seems to me that Randy has had a few knock backs and when Mcleish resigned on Sunday he was maybe a bit desperate. Certainly a sad state of affairs, what ever happens from here.
  7. Well maybe they will feel there voices were heard.
  8. You're right.. What right does the owner of a business have to appoint senior executives that he feels are right fit for the strategy he has in mind for his business? After spending £65 million buying the business and then investing upwards of £150m on the infrastructure of that business, all from his family's wealth, he should now step back from making any decisions on how he feels is the best way to protect and grow that investment. Loaned the business £150m. In exactly the same way that Abramovich, Mansour etc loaned money to the business. He could have gone the Glazer route and mortgaged the business against itself. I know which investment option I prefer. I think you'll find the terms of the loan to be the same, either way it to be funded. Debt is debt.

  10. Can't say I know much about our economic situation, but I assumed we were in debt by quite a bit of money so I wouldn't find that very surprising at all to be honest. Hasn't Lerner loaned the money he invests in players instead of gifting it.
  11. We have been knocked back, so he's about 4th choice and we have no choice. How do you know Lerner hadn't turned'em down? Its like hiring Houllier, stupid. Turn it in knob jockey. The caliber of people being linked were all not suitable in Lerner's opinion.

  13. Right, i reckon it's time to make a short list of candidates from the fizzy pop league and start interviewing.
  14. I actually think if he rejects us it wont be the fact that were not big enough its the fact he's on a good thing at Wigan currently has a chairman he works well with used to play for the club and is emotionally attached thats my ten cents on the matter fair play to the bloke tbh not much loyalty in football anymore i think thats why Coyle wont join us either if we go for him next. So why talk in the first place and why have we been knocked back a few times already. Because both Roberto and Whelan are gentleman who have a good relationship with each other and perhaps they have an agreement between them where he will not deny him the chance if a big club comes calling. Roberto would be stupid to knock us back immediately of course he's going to talk to us to begin with and mull it over. Right so listen, mull it over and decide he doesn't like what he's hearing. Seems to be a pattern.

  16. Posters are just bitter cuz they don't have any money on Martinez. Lol, the bookies have cleaned up
  17. I tell ya what, if that happens i'll give you £100K. If it don't, you give me £1K. ? No, thought not.
  18. Yep after all the names we have been linked, most likely they have been asked but said no thank you.
  19. How was you trying to convince him?
  20. We been knocked back again, feels like a Friday night  Have to lower our standard soon
  21. Imagine the crowd at Villa Park when he signed  It's surely only a case if Moyes would come, because if Lerner had the chance and never took it with both arms, then the Villa is fooked going forward.
  22. They know someone with pedigree will be appointed, so they can chillax.
  23. It's because of who we are strongly being linked with, that is bringing the frustration to the surface in many fans.
