With all due respect why do the board feel they have a better understanding of the situation we are in than us the fans? There are ex players saying we are a mess, these ex players who used to wear the shirt with pride, used to spill blood and bust guts for us to win. They know what it takes. We know what it takes. There have been games this season such as Sunderland, Man City, Wolves etc where I don't think I have ever seen such awful, dire, lack of passion, gutless and embarrassing performances. However, with the continious loss of our best players, the off field problems aswell as the onfield issues and the losses recorded by the club. I think I speak for alot of fans here when I say that Randy's commitment is not in question. It is the committment of our manager by his team selection and quotes post match (not the first time since his appointment either is it?). What happened Wednesday is pretty unexcusable and the more I think about it the more frustrated it makes me. If Aston Villa FC is unable to compete in two competitions despite the investment made something is clearly wrong somewhere.
