Really interested to see what team he picks for tonight, there's definately competition for a number of places. Whichever team he picks, they'll be some decent options from the bench too.

I'm really excited about seeing him in a Villa shirt.

If we can quickly get him playing to his maximum then we've got a very very good player on our hands who I think the fans will love.

Just been thinking about a factor in all this, and it's one which doesn't usually benefit Villa - the London draw.

Bent was born in Tooting, probably still has family there/in and around London, he's played for Charlton and Spurs (and no doubt has mates at both clubs) etc. He must be very isolated in the North East as he's miles away from everyone. He can't just jump in the car and be in London within an hour or two.

None of the London clubs are in for him, so a move to Villa makes sense (on a personal level).

It's blatant that he wants to play for us considering he's handed in a transfer request AND he's even taken the trouble to drive to the Midlands so he can be there ready to discuss personal terms.

Of course there is a club leading the league with aspirations for the title who need a goal scorer to convert their away draws into victories, who may now be alerted........

They might not actually have the cash as we do but, unlike most others, they can at least lay their hands on some when needed....

They've got Rooney, Hernandez, Berbatov plus Wellbeck & Diouf out on loan. Can't see them being interested tbh.

Makoun winning the ball, Charlie Adam playing lovely through balls and Albrighton, Downing and Young supplying the crosses for Bent.

Walker looks a real player to me. Thought we were the better team for long periods, if Gabby stuck away that early chance ( which he should have ) then i think the result could have been very different.

AK74u works well both ways; with the grip/rapid fire you'll only lose a shoot-out if someone gets the drop on you.

I've just had a FFA using the AK74 as above and I actually got over 25 kills for a change. Good tip! Kudos to you, sir.

One of my main problems was losing shoot outs with people.

I was a big fan of Warnock when he first joined us but i really worry about him defensively now, Tchoyi looks like he can go past him every time.

Nzogbia actually looks good on both wings too, seen him score a fair few cutting in from the right.

I'm still unsure wether his recent form is just temporary or if it was just the " megson effect " preventing him from playing well before but if he was available for anything under £5m then its worth a punt imo.
