Bumped. Apparantly VAT is going to be cut to 15%. Not sure how much it will help. Government borrowing is already a stupid figure. While i would welcome such a cut not sure if it's the right thing long term. Thoughts?

The greed of these energy companies is unbelievable.

Thing is especially is terms of gas prices - which have gone up on an almost exponential basis compared to oil - means the cost of heating your home and workplace is likely to go up rather than down.

I personally think the energy companies have ahuge part to play in this. The fuel bills have been rising, and we have the most expensive gas and electric prices compared to the rest of Europe.

While I am on a reasonable income, you wonder how pensioners cope with this?

luckily it appears with Oil nearly a third of the price it was in January we will be seeing priuce cuts, one company has already announced this

It's the treatment centre at Good Hope! My boss did the medical. I only had a brief chat with him! Nice guy though! This was around 1030 yesterday morning. And yes the waiting room is empty cos we're so efficient! :wink:
