Kane has been trying to make it in US for a while, has been on some late night shows before and has been telling people he wants to play NFL when he retires
That must endear him..."when I'm old and sh*t, I'll walk into your sport and smash it. Easy"

What about Meslier? Needs a break from the pressure of No1 imo and a good keeper and presumably wants to leave. Not because Leeds have gone down, just because Leeds.

I think he's ready to play back up to Ollie. From Ollie's point of view, he was poor when he had an "equivalent" striker pushing him for his place, it seemed to undermine his confidence. If we can get a wide attacker that can also go up top then I think it's a good balance.

I think that would be it for attacking players if we got both tbh
Especially when we have Davies and Wesley returning to the squad...

Don't know if it's true yet it is consistently mentioned that they only have £75million to spend?
Guess we'll see...
They do have an extra £75 million to spend at all times.

Don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily want to see him sold.
However, in truth, he is the least " modern " of our CBs.
I'm not sure if he is the " future " if i'm honest, he's slow.
I have a feeling that over the next couple of seasons there will be some painful outgoings.
But we have to become self sustainable.
Hopefully if this is the case, we are sure to keep our " core " at all times.
Didn't he nearly go a while season without being dribbled past? He doesn't look slow to me at all

The first signing will be the best value in a fire sale

Zaha on a free from tonight. Anybody fancy him here?
I hate his face but there's no denying his quality. If Unai still rates him then it's a no brainer

I'm not convinced it's imperative to have a left and right footer in central defence, I do think in terms of a natural body shape to tackle, block and pass it makes sense. It's more strange that if we go for Torres that he will be the second left footed CB we've bought as "completion" for Ming's who as an outsider (villa fan) has been one of our best players.
Either a change in system / combination or the management don't fancy him....

Not sure I can melt down over a CB

If we sign him then who are we signing next?

It really didn't, we just chose to ignore it and write it off.
Was reported for months that he had basically " agreed " to go to Man City.
By the likes of TalkSport and even Football Insider before them,!

This is the main point for me, but I do get pissed off when people try to argue or justify ignorance, though.
I'd only use up energy on the people who are trying to piss you off. Most people are just going about their lives, sometimes clumsily, sometimes making mistakes but not meaning any harm

No, it doesn't. White Chicks is not the same as blackface ffs.
There's a big difference with dressing up like Nelson Mandela because you think he was the greatest human being of all time and dressing up like a golliwog to ridicule a whole race of people. One is racist, the other is not.
It would make for a tedious evening explaining your intentions the whole time so best avoided either way

Yes, that's why he'd be available and might be happy to not have the pressure of No1 slot. Hes been very good previously and very young
