I know this is probably an odd thing to write here, but I really hope he doesn't get cabbaged. It makes us look so stupid.

Wes Edens sacked his ‘mate’ in Jason Kidd who was coaching the Bucks, there’s no chance Purslow isn’t aware of this and I believe he’s also equally as ruthless

Surely it’s just Sarr?
Does sarr deserve a ? It’s basically already leaked and it’s not like he’s out of our reach

I’m not convinced this has anything to do with Villa.
He’s not generally the type to wind up and he knows what people will expect from this though
edit: he’s just said it’s not Villa related ffs

wonder if this is about a signing that’s gone under the radar

Good half for us, don't really think we've done much wrong. Everton have no intrest in playing football and just defending really deep
haven't you heard? we were awful and the world is ending!

Mate, following the Villa is one mistake you can't pause or put right, you are destined to keep repeating it and it will continue to be something that haunts you even after you are dead.
Aston Villa is a cruel mistress, only interested in raising your hopes purely in order to destroy them, slowly and painfully through a mix of neglect and incompetence.
Your suffering is her delight! For those who have been abused over prolonged periods of time, they often say the only available choice is to enjoy it.
You've had plenty of chances to walk away, but you always come back, don't you? You are in it for the long haul, I'm afraid mate. Bend over and present like the rest of us.
Everton next and when we scrape an unconvincing 1-0 win after Tyrone comes on to nick it, she will be back in your ear, promising you the world. This time in return for one of your kidneys.
Think this may be the best, most accurate post I’ve seen on this forum

I wouldn’t say that yet but a bad defeat v Everton would certainly see a lot more turn on him
Not even a bad defeat, a poor performance with a lack of gameplan would also see people turn I think.
I was on the fence, however yesterday was very worrying and I lost a lot of belief he's the guy to take us forward.

I think he will see how the first few games go to see if we need anyone else in. Although all the decent players have no been signed by other clubs.
Jesus Christ
Yes, there is literally zero decent players available for purchase at any price

We've literally got development players in our first team squad right now , as well as one of the strongest and most Pro active academies in the country.
It's why with certain things there is no point even bothering ffs.
Haha I agree, we literally have a full 11 of quality youth products to develop into starters/squad players

But what about the countless youngsters we’ve been signing? Tim Iro, Azaz, Feeney, Barry, loads more even Chukweumeka we signed from elsewhere
Those are forgotten about as they don’t suit the narrative being peddled silly

I really like Gerrard, but doesn’t stop me from being concerned about him!
He needs to show he can adapt and start playing players on form.
Players like Buendia, Bailey, Sanson, Chambers need to start more if their form warrants it.
More people need this sort of balance in their opinions

What’s Aaron’s best position?
Also, I read somewhere last night he’s now 190 cm tall. Unless it’s false he must have made a huge growth spurt, and could still grow further. He is/will be a physically big player, if the numbers are correct. Much taller than Jacob.
Pretty much a 10 I think

@Delphinho123 have you heard anything else regarding him staying on?

That's strange as I see a powerful, but slow and cumbersome player that finishes well but passes poorly! Definitely not what we need.
This. His performances fell off a cliff once moyes started to transition to a more possession based approach.

Football manager has him as natural at CM, RM and AMC but labels him as a wide midfielder if that helps at all
