I am actually St.Mirren fan, who has adopted Villa as my English team due to John McGinn, who was loved when he was with us. Saw this tweet today and it sums SJM. Really hope you guys pull away from bottom 3. Looking forward to the first match back after the break. Good luck.

Good afternoon chaps, first time poster. I am actually a St.Mirren fan who is now following career of John McGinn as he was clearly going to be someone special, even during his stint with us. As a teenager, he would get stuck into Celtic's Scott Brown and never give him a moments peace. Fans loved him for his dig, workrate and passion for the jersey. Was amazing at Hibs and now at Villa Park. Myself and young son have adopted Villa as our English team. Sure you guys will escape the bottom 3 and hopefully kick on next season. Great ground, fans, history. Travesty if you go down. I am attaching a tweet re an interview with Gordon Strachan. Sums SJM perfectly.
