It's the one position I think we desperately need to sign. We have a hit and miss performer as first choice and an unproven struggling to score second choice.

If we had signed Maupay I don't think this thread would have even been started. I know he's scored the same amount of goals as Wes, but in this team I reckon he would have had more.!

Be interesting to see what team the dingles put out with Arsenal Saturday Europa mid week then us again in the PL, they haven't got a huge amount of strength in depth and probably need to prioritise and rotate. 

Have a sneaky feeling we might see Chester play a part in this one.

Not got a clue which way DS will go with this, but at a wild guess I feel it will be a mix no wholesale changes.

We played really well first half but there quality showed in the end, not overly bothered but thought we could have defended better at times.

Just watching the Southampton game they really deserved that spanking they were proper crap!

From mid December through to the end of Feb we have some really winnable games apart from Man city, that period could make or break our season.

So we reportedly put in a bid for Pione Sisto on the transfer deadline day, he's not currently getting any game time and Celta want to (reportedly) sell him in Jan. Can't say I know much about him any good?

No it was my mistake was thinking of the AFCON just getting mixed up with dates.

We  need the Wes that got an 8 rating against Norwich to turn up Saturday not the 4 rated one that played against Burnley and Brighton
