Brentford playing a back 4, they've been playing a back 3 all season

In fairness, they still need to lose 2 - 3 more and we need to swing goal difference by a minimum of 15 to have any chance, if that makes you feel an y better.
They do have man city and arsenal to play tho

Look I watched the game, seen the highlights about 5 times and downloaded all the content and podcasts I could find and am all aboard the "getting carried away" train. But it can't last can it?
Enjoy it and stop trying to find reasons to moan! This is Villa now

He's made us have dreams again

They seem to have a very different view to us about that game....some of them thought they dominated it, sure they had a few chances...and had 12 corners, which we seem to struggle with.
They also got a soft penalty too, I thought overall a point was about fair, especially when you look at our recent record against them. We would of lost that game a few months ago

The dark arts are part of the game, finally were using them to our advantage! All top teams do it, I'll take 3 points every time thanks

First one takes a slight deflection, second he gets a hand on it but can't quite stop it going in, if we're gonna pick emi out for those two goals maybe we need a reality check.

Expectations have taken another big dip today, just when we think they may be turning a corner they **** us again! I'm 100% behind Emery, but the man has some work on his hands to get these lot into gear, our owners must feel cursed to throw 400 mil into villa and have this lot to show for it. Anyway I'm positive he'll get it right, if he can't were truly are cursed LMFAO

Fantastic appointment! We can build something real here

Can't help get excited by Emery, I just feel he's the best fit for us at this moment, 4-2-3-1 is his go to aswell UTV

PAINFUL JUST PAINFUL

Hard to find anything positive to say, I'm starting to think he should carry on with his apprenticeship in league 1.

I don't like pre moaning about lineups, as sometimes they work, but I can't help but be mightily annoyed.
What is going to make this work now?
Is McGinn good again?
Anyway, if it's shit again he's only crucifying himself.
It's baffling how he has not realized what we can all see, maybe this is mcginn s night but can't help thinking Dougie should be in there.

I think my patience has improved with age but I also believe my ability to see when it isn’t working or isn’t improving over a course of a good period has improved. Sometimes when you are younger you let things ride for a bit too long like bad relationships but as you get older you spot when they aren’t working, try to fix them, give them time but then you know when it isn’t working, you cut your losses. You do this quicker than when you are younger.
I’m not saying we sack Gerrard now but I don’t see him fixing the coaching issues we have with the play on the pitch. We have players that are better than the performances we have. Gerrard needs to fix it quickly otherwise he needs to go.
The problem for me though is not the players he’s buying he’s not getting the best out of them starting with the January signings which adds to the squad he inherited which he’s not getting the best out of.
He’s obviously got time because he has but he’s on thin ice. I’ll be delighted if he turns it around (and I don’t just mean over three or four games but an extended period) and I will turn into his biggest supporter but I’m just not seeing any ray of light at the moment.
Don't they say it's the hope that kills you? I think maybe we all went into the season with fresh hope, then that Bournemouth performance has knocked us on our arses again
