As like friendlies, most of the game was played in midfield, going side to side.
The kit designer (Luke Roper?) guy was sat close by. I can confirm Mrs Roper's MILF status.

Went to Kiddy Saturday, saw a few of the young lads:
Knibbs - switched between up front & right wing, looked more comfortable up top. Skinny looking chap. Could of have a couple more goals.
Clarke - generally tidy. Like most of the midfield, took the game like a training exercise. Did the simple things without much fuss.
Sulliman - bit of a worry. Not under to much pressure during the game, but got caught out a few times (doing a Ciaran Clark type turn).
Ramsey? (the no 2) - came on as sub down the left wing. Looked very good, tried to get at the Kiddy back line.
Walker? (the no 15) - came on as sub, liked the look of him at full back . Quite short & stocky.

I was there last night, really enjoyed it. Really LOL'ed at Nigel on hurt feelings.
Hole and sole line had be in stiches.
Quite a good mix of classics and a few songs I hadn't heard before (including the seagull).
Its been 15-20 years since I was last at the NEC, I couldn't remember it taking so long to leave the arena.

See?! I've known him for 32 years and I still can't get it right!
So Tadhg is a chap, I know Aoife is a girls name, but I haven't got a clue about Saoirse. Is it a girls name?

Looking at first glance, 5 midlands fixtures on the bounce seems harsh.
Plus Millwall at home will be moved - we have an agreement with the church to not play Easter Monday.

Just a thought - Ulises de la Cruz
We signed him after the 2002 WC, but was he still on the books for the 2006 WC?
He moved to Reading on a free in the summer of 2006.

Nicely done Villamarv.
I'd add that both Warnock (2010) & Withe (1982) were in the England Squad but never played. Vic Crowe was in the Wales squad in 1958 but didn't play.

Renewed this week.
Was the same price as last season, so I assume the early bird was extended from April.

I'm 15 minutes from Blackheath, I too would like specific time/place details please. We'll form an orderly queue.
Many moons ago, some woman approached my mate in Blackheath and asked 'if he wanted a good time'
Blackheath, Stay classy.

On a similar note, PE at secondary school.
When I as a lad, Maths & Science classes were sorted by ability whilst the rest were sorted by your English Class.
Therefore the PE class would be a mixed bag of abilities from sporty kids and pie eaters with no interest in moving around at all.
Used to annoy me as it would be better if it was sorted by ability.
The same went for other classes like Art, Geography etc.
I struggled to draw stick men, yet I'd be in class with kids who could draw. Just didn't seem fair.

The list of released and retained players at EFL clubs has been published following the conclusion of the 2017/18 season.
Players detailed on the released list can still re-sign or may have now re-signed for their respective clubs ahead of the new season, and so their inclusion does not necessarily mean the player will be leaving the club.
The information was correct as of 19th May 2018.

No surprised, lost his place in starting XI in the reserves towards the end of the season (Mitch Clark moving to LB, Bazeley promoted to RB).

What they forget is the scary statistic that 31 times in 49 games we only scored 1 or 0 with he most expensive squad the championship has ever seen. That's what bit us in the ass.
Yet we scored 72 goals in the league, only Wolves & Fulham scored more!

Holy moly. I don't need it myself thanks, but I'd say it would be of interest so we could link to it from here and maybe host it online somewhere?
Hopefully this pic works:

They do. They're competitive so they count.
Someone should have told Steve Bruce this on Saturday.......
Anyway, I have broken down the league scorers into the number of goals scored against each club (list of clubs at the top and players names going down the side).
However after converting it to a jpeg file its 2347x10247 pixels and is huge! So if it of any use to you, just shout and I'll fire it across somehow (just remember I'm not overly good with computers!)

Nice Stats BOF.
I see you've added Jedinak's play-off goal to the tally. I too keep a record, but have chosen to not count the play-off games. Each to their own, unless the play-offs count as official games. Do they count as official games?
Anyway, another stat for the 2017-18 season is that we've had 18 different scorers throughout the league & cup games, which is a record number (previous best was 17 in 2011-12). So is using 38 different players throughout the season (basically through playing the kids the league cup).

This chap is my favourite right back. He was actually a left back.
Joined the club in the summer 59 with Charlie Aitken. Within 18 months Charlie would the left back role he own for the next 15 years.
Despite this, he stayed with the club until the Doc sold him in the summer of 68.
In that time he made just 2 appearances, 1 at right back, 1 at left back.
I'll be impressed if anybody can remember his name!

On the OS now:
QuoteWe’re now SOLD OUT for the Play-Off Final.
We take on Fulham on Saturday with a 5pm kick-off at Wembley Stadium.
And we’ll be backed by over 38,000 fans after our allocation was snapped up overnight.
Now that all our seats have been sold, focus will immediately switch to despatching tickets in the post.
Please be patient as this process is completed over the next few days – and remember that all tickets are non transferable and non refundable.
There’s still hospitality available for the big day out in the capital but this is very limited and looks set to sell out, too, this morning.
Contact us on 0323 333 1982 (option one) to book in.

I've seen it on Villa's Twitter but here are still seats available. In block 549-552 there are 19 seats, and in block 136-140 there are 15 seats. Also a few single seats in other blocks.
That's where I've seen it. So, is the club statement a touch premature?
