    It's hardly a scumbag tackle - it's a misjudged 50-50.

Ah stop buddy, he leaped in at him. There was no way he could get near him. It was a scumbag tackle, Villa player or not

  2. I think the most disgusting thing was his reaction, waving his finger like he did nothing wrong

A lad who had his own leg break should know better than try a scumbag tackle like that

Well I'm afraid we will have to agree to disagree - in no way in my opinion is Hoddle dated- Good lord if he is heaven only knows what that makes Bruce.

i will say it again in my view he remains one of the most forward thinking coaches of his generation and I include the present in this.

I guess that's what makes footy interesting ?

He was forward thinking when dinosaurs roamed the earth. But thats a long time ago. Hoddle had his moment and did very little with it

As a matter of interest if Bruce were to leave his post - who would your choice be to succeed him?

With anyone on offer, I wouldnt say no to Howe. My personal choice would be Christophe Galtier purely because of the way he plays football, we originally wanted him when we got Garde. If Bruce goes we will probably get Pardew.

Well his recent failures are not that more or less any relavant than his recent successes in my view.

Why, football has moved on from when Glenn was at the top, this has clearly been shown by his recent failures. Your view is dated

You make some valid points that I cannot argue against, however I note that you do not make mention of the good jobs that he did at firstly Swindon Town and then helping to restablish Chelsea as a force whilst also encouraging big names to the club- England came knocking next and I feel you might be a little surprised by his win ratio here. He also did a very good job at Southampton before Spuds came knocking for him.

In my view he was and remains one of this country's most forward thinking coaches and whilst I am not clamouring for Bruce to go - if there is a chance to replace him with Hoddle then 1000% yes from me.

Because they are irrelevant, his time is in the past. He should be judged on his recent failures
