  1. Gordon kept them in the game and it's a shame we couldn't have got the winner. I can't understand people saying we didn't want to win it, we aren't good enough to just say "ok let's take over and dominate the game."

I think the fonz showed that MON has made mistakes not giving him chances earlier but he did two big **** ups near the end.

I didn't think we looked tired, we had our chances but like all season we've lacked that player that turns 1 point into 2.[/quote]

He'd have to be a miracle worker to earn us 2 points from a game!

  2. The amount of times our defenders picked up the ball and passed it to nobody was annoying - we have to keep the ball better to progress.

Cuellar offers no threat on the right, Downing should be on the left but Young is better there meaning Downing plays on the right and looks average.

Heskey is Heskey - utter tosh! I saw more attacking threat from Delf in one half of football than I have in the mule all season!

Petrov just doesn't have the engine to last the whole game.

We may have not lost more games than any other premiership teams but we draw far too many. We need to take more risks because for the level we want to get to 1 point so often is just not enough!

  3. Well played Young and Carew who looked our best players today.

Cuellar is not a right back and is poor with the ball, Heskey went missing as per normal.

Petrov should have been sent off if I'm honest and Downing should have scored that header. Certainly a part of his game he needs to work on!

There goes our top four chances.

We just need to hope Agbonlahor is back for Sunderland and that O'Neill drops his pet Heskey! :bang:

  4. I can't believe all this rubbish on here - we all know Spurs are the best team in the world!

    Hoof 1:

    Exhibit A

    Davies notes 'long ball' Spurs

"Tottenham played a lot of long balls into Crouchy"

    Hoof 2:

    Exhibit B

"Spurs were looking to use the height of Peter Crouch rather than playing through Stoke"

    "they went route one"

    Hoof 3:

    Exhibit C

“I think they played more long balls than anyone I’ve played against this season with the balls upto Peter Crouch."

    Hoof 4:

    Exhibit D

“It’s funny I thought in the game it was quite strange because a lot of their attacks came from long balls up to ‘Crouchy’"

    Hoof 5:

    Exhibit E

Redknapp dropped the England striker for Tottenham's subsequent league matches against, unimpressed with how his team resorted to playing high balls towards Crouch.

'We can play it too long at times"

    Hoof 6:

    Exhibit F

"It was mentioned to me that our goals against Liverpool were out of the old Wimbledon manual and I have to admit it is something I literally called for at half time."

    Hoof 7:

    Exhibit G

Predictable long-ball merchants Tottenham don't scare us

'They always play a long ball first, and the game will start from there."

    Hoof 8:

    Exhibit H

    Kranjcar defends route one Tottenham

"You are looking to create chances through crosses and long balls"

  5. Couldn't believe Downing and Heskey giving the ball away so easy at the end. It took a younger member of the team in Milner to show them what to do! Take the ball to the corner! :)

Very good result in an important match for us as it keeps us in touch with the pack. Milner was awesome - reminded me of a younger Steven Gerrard!!!

  6. There is no logic to Heskey staying in the starting line up! :bang:

Really frustrating seeing him in the team!

Saying that a point at Stoke is not a disaster (a decent result looking at their home record) but we'll need to take 3 off Wigan now on Tuesday if we want that 4th place.
