Warnock - look who you're passing it to!
-
I expected us to lose this one but I just hope we have a real go second half - we need wins so just pile forward!
-
Chelsea to win 2-0 or 3-0 - O'Neill to blame tiredness for the loss and the fact we didn't get a wee bit of luck!
Can only see a defeat for us in this one!
-
Not that excited about this one.
I think that's more down to us being predictable. We really need a player who can do something a bit different and there are too many favourites (Heskey) who get picked regardless of how they play!
-
Gordon kept them in the game and it's a shame we couldn't have got the winner. I can't understand people saying we didn't want to win it, we aren't good enough to just say "ok let's take over and dominate the game."
I think the fonz showed that MON has made mistakes not giving him chances earlier but he did two big **** ups near the end.
I didn't think we looked tired, we had our chances but like all season we've lacked that player that turns 1 point into 2.[/quote]
He'd have to be a miracle worker to earn us 2 points from a game!
-
The amount of times our defenders picked up the ball and passed it to nobody was annoying - we have to keep the ball better to progress.
Cuellar offers no threat on the right, Downing should be on the left but Young is better there meaning Downing plays on the right and looks average.
Heskey is Heskey - utter tosh! I saw more attacking threat from Delf in one half of football than I have in the mule all season!
Petrov just doesn't have the engine to last the whole game.
We may have not lost more games than any other premiership teams but we draw far too many. We need to take more risks because for the level we want to get to 1 point so often is just not enough!
-
Oh great Emile "I can do no wrong" Heskey keeps his place - what a joke!
-
Our top four challenge finished when O'neill decided Heskey should start up front!
-
As long as Heskey doesn't start then at least it's 11 vs 11!
-
Can't believe the amount of space we gave Wolves for their second goal. School boy defending!
-
Anyone see Hull's goal today? The ball deflected off Dowd and the Hull player went through to score!
Can't believe that clown is still in work!
-
Birmingham created 21 chances against them including 14 on target!!!
We should create chances against this lot but we need Gabby to play as Heskey is a liability. Bent has a good record against us so will need to be watched closely.
A draw will not be enough!
-
How frustrating is it when you get Cuellar (the centre back) trying to pretend he can pass it at right back to Downing on the right (the left midfielder) who then comes inside again! He then crosses it to the rubbish Heskey!
Dire!
-
Well played Young and Carew who looked our best players today.
Cuellar is not a right back and is poor with the ball, Heskey went missing as per normal.
Petrov should have been sent off if I'm honest and Downing should have scored that header. Certainly a part of his game he needs to work on!
There goes our top four chances.
We just need to hope Agbonlahor is back for Sunderland and that O'Neill drops his pet Heskey!

North Stand and Trinity are pretty much sold out with limited availability in the Holte and DE stand - looking like about 40k I reckon!

I can't believe all this rubbish on here - we all know Spurs are the best team in the world!
Hoof 1:
Davies notes 'long ball' Spurs
"Tottenham played a lot of long balls into Crouchy"
Hoof 2:
"Spurs were looking to use the height of Peter Crouch rather than playing through Stoke"
"they went route one"
Hoof 3:
“I think they played more long balls than anyone I’ve played against this season with the balls upto Peter Crouch."
Hoof 4:
“It’s funny I thought in the game it was quite strange because a lot of their attacks came from long balls up to ‘Crouchy’"
Hoof 5:
Redknapp dropped the England striker for Tottenham's subsequent league matches against, unimpressed with how his team resorted to playing high balls towards Crouch.
'We can play it too long at times"
Hoof 6:
"It was mentioned to me that our goals against Liverpool were out of the old Wimbledon manual and I have to admit it is something I literally called for at half time."
Hoof 7:
Predictable long-ball merchants Tottenham don't scare us
'They always play a long ball first, and the game will start from there."
Hoof 8:
Kranjcar defends route one Tottenham
"You are looking to create chances through crosses and long balls"
-
Would like to see Carew and Gabby up front for this one!
-
Friedel 7
Cuellar 6
Dunne 7
Collins 7
Warnock 7 (much better second half)
A Young 7
Petrov 7
Milner 9
Downing 6
Gabby 6
Carew 6
Milner certainly was superb!
-
Would be useful if you/ the club could clarify the position on the above as I would be very likely to buy the 5 tickets if it gave me a stronger chance of a cup semi final ticket.
Thanks.

Couldn't believe Downing and Heskey giving the ball away so easy at the end. It took a younger member of the team in Milner to show them what to do! Take the ball to the corner!
Very good result in an important match for us as it keeps us in touch with the pack. Milner was awesome - reminded me of a younger Steven Gerrard!!!
-
Huge 2nd half - a win would do so much for our confidence!
-
There is no logic to Heskey staying in the starting line up!
Really frustrating seeing him in the team!
Saying that a point at Stoke is not a disaster (a decent result looking at their home record) but we'll need to take 3 off Wigan now on Tuesday if we want that 4th place.
-
So 3 times in 18 years Spurs have been one of the top seven teams in the main domestic competition! Of course, they are the best team in the World though!
-
Classic comments from Palacios!
I can't understand why someone would want to look for a move from a club that has come in the top seven 3 times in 18 seasons. They must be a real giant of the game

If we're still behind for 10 minutes more might as well throw the Delf on!
