After that tweet, who would there be hesitations in the fans getting behind?

    MoN? Trevor Francis? Hughton?

It was a fake account, he didn't actually tweet that.

I'll always get behind Aston Villa football club. Steve Bruce on the other hand, is an altogether different issue...

Well, if Bruce is MANAGER of Aston Villa Football Club, then we should get behind him as well in my opinion.

Judge him on what he does for us now. Everything he has done in the past has been a different situation, with different players, with different kinds of boards.

No point in being negative, if he's here, then there's nothing we can do about it, whether we like it or not.

All we can do now is do what we do best, get behind the team, the manager, the board, turn up and sing our heart out.

  3. So i've been on and off this thread lately. Basically, is Bruce taking over until...

a- we get promoted and then we try find someone else

b- we don't get promoted and then sack him

or c - is he here for the long run?

    You described that idea perfectly.

I'd love Tim back. F8ck it, why not? Lets face it, we're in the championship and at the moment it looks more likely us going down then going back up. Instead of always having huge pressure on us to win a game, we sit back and watch some entertaining football and actually enjoy it for once!

Why must the manager have a lot of experience ? Karanka and Jokanovic have gotten Watford and Middlesbrough promoted in the last two seasons, Sean Dyche and Eddie Howe have won the league the two last seasons, they are not what I would have called very experienced, Bruce and Neil are the two other managers that were promoted the last two seasons, with Neil having no previous experience in the league what so ever, look at the teams that are doing well this season. out of the top 6, the most experienced are Benitez (never managed in the league before) and Neil. Hughton also has experience, but he had no manager experience AT ALL when he won promotion with Newcastle. This experience myth is stupid. What this league has shown season after season is that stars don't win it, but proper teams that work hard do well. Also I just don't get the obsession with experience, RDM had experienced, he has won this league before, he even won the champions League. I'd rather we tried for someone that has long term goals than someone limited like Bruce. And why not go for someone that is not already in the UK ? Karanka last season, Jokanovic the previous and Wagner this season all prove that foreigners can be good in this league if they are good managers.

    Well Remi Garde.

I look at his signing like this:

Kodjia (unknown potential) v Agbonlahor (cannot be bothered) = Kodjia win

Kodjia (unknown potential) v Kozak (runs in glue and looks out of sorts) = Kodjia win

Kodjia (unknown potential) v Gestede (done it before and off to decent start but looks too sluggish and will we cross it enough for him to head in?) = Kodjia win

Kodjia (unknown potential) v Hepburn-Murphy (still inexperienced but unknown potential) = Kodjia win (he's got the experience)

That's why I am happy to have signed this guy. It doesn't mean I wouldn't have preferred someone else, such as Rhodes, but I think that we have a tall, dynamic striker who will score us a lot of goals given time.

Kodjia (15m) v Gabby, Kozak, Gestede and RMH (13m) = Kodjia win :P
