Someone need to do a definitive line-up of players that were supposed to be nailed on but never signed.
Hoolahan, Stephens, Defoe, Belhanda. Any others?
I'm pretty sure Ki Sung Yueng was "definitely signing" a few years back...

Fantastic. We don't need a goal poacher if we get nowhere near the goal anyway.

Which is interesting, because looking at the other players we're rumoured to be looking at, they seem to support this formation - something like:
------------------Lensbury-----Hourihane----------------
Adomah----------------Grealish------------Brady/Kodjia/Ayew
------------------------Kodjia/New CF---------------------
One is good enough, imagine two of him

Don't be frustrated. Normal servixe is resumed.
When have we ever gone into January and made a raft of signings? Sylla, Holt, Dawkins, Heskey, Routledge.
Going back to deadly Djemba Djemba was the only signing I can remember.
...and when you do pay money you get your eye taken out. Darren Bent.
This window is a monumental waste of time, and SSN can go ***** themselves with the utter tripe they come up with to sensationalise this tripe.
I had hoped we would do business early doors, naively but it's the same as always. Very difficult. All the more reason to hate RDM.
How about Young and Carew

Quick question, does anyone know when De Laet is meant to be back?

Good! He can still dictate from midfield, he's just suffering a dip in form. In 2012/13, he was brilliant
Brilliant? The only thing that kept us in that league was Benteke.

Great idea that, a front 6 of:
Young Barry Delph Downing
Cleverley
Benteke
(Cleverley playing just off Tekers)
I heard Milner was in brum earlier aswell...

Then we would have to get somebody new. We haven't had anyone good since John Carew.
Woo hoo.
I see your point of view.

There's a lot more to it than just signing 8-9-10-11 players...
Yes our squad is weak in certain areas, (midfield being the obvious) but have we not already spent £55m?
Put it into perspective, if we were spending the same proportion of money to other clubs in the premier league rather than the championship, we would be accused of "buying the league".
And one of our worst ever transfer windows is when we splashed out cash on a load of these french league players, and we know how that panned out.

Good game, looks good.
-
From what I've seen this season, I wouldn't question someone if they told me we had got him on a free. Useless so far, blame the midfield all you like but there has been nothing to suggest he is worth £12m.

Just scored against the arsenal. Fair play.

F*ck Delph
-
So yeah I think the biggest midfield problem we have is the problem we have in midfield. Problem.

Did Lansbury and Gardner play together at Forest?

In comparison to last years catastrophe, IMO Chester has been a strong 20/10

He's still shite
