Talks of corruption are giving the refs and VAR too much credit.
It implies they’re competent but just want to change the results.
It’s none of that. They’re just completely and utterly **** shit
Surely no one’s that shit, there has to be elements of biased in there as well.

for 21/22 chelsea generated circa £500m
take off £100m for the CL
same as utd and arsenal, their decline off the pitch is grossly exaggerated, they're still double ours / newcastles / brightons and be back one day
Imagine a lot of that comes from sponsorship money that companies are paying because they are/were in the champions league no?

8th highest revenue in the world even with no Champions League football. Managed to spend most of that money spread over 8 years before UEFA changed the rules.
£800m spent over 8 years is only £100m a year, not even a quarter of their annual revenue.
They’ll be fine for a while longer, but yes eventually they’ll have to stop spending.
Only 8th because once upon a time they won things and youngsters around the world were glory hunting. They will move on from Chelsea soon enough and that revenue will plummet if they fail to get European football for the next two seasons which is looking highly likely.
Depends how long until Boehly gets bored of not winning and goes back to the US sports.

Cannot believe at one point I thought he wasn’t good enough for the premiership… I’m ashamed of myself.

Buzzing as I am, I do feel sad for Mings and Buendia to be missing out on all this from a player’s perspective.
