We weren't fighting for CL back then and the players we have sold were nowhere near as highly thought of as Carney was at the time.

Also, the players we have sold are glorified loan deals.

He would have definitely started a lot of games here if he signed the contract. The club were terrified of him becoming a star and then leaving on a free so limited his game time to prevent this and put pressure on him to sign. 

He may still make it but he's massively decreased his chances by signing for Chelsea. 

At least the club can use this as evidence to other kids that might think of doing the same thing in the future. 

The idiot threw his career away by not signing that contract here. 

Make a name for yourself then worry about getting a move.

You almost have to laugh at this point. The news anchor covering this was praising the crowd literally 10 seconds before the camera pans to someone on a stretcher. It would be funny if people weren't dying from this shit.

It's a huge letdown. I thought it was decent when I played through it but as soon as I swapped to Cyberpunk I realised that it was levels below other AAA games. 

This injury is going to completely **** us. Not just this season, but the next one too. We're going to have to take a big chunk out of our budget just to replace him. 

I'm so deflated.
