If they don't call Adomah up that would be brilliant news!

Kodija is the major loss IMO and I can't see how we can replace him like for like in the interim as it would take anyone new time to settle anyway. We'd have to change setup to accommodate McCormack I suppose and I don't know enough about his previous club to know the sorts of players he needs around him to thrive.

Yeah Ghana didn't call Adomah, but Ayew of course.

  2. Gollini - looks a better goalkeeper now. Maybe we can trust him, but he will make mistakes ealier or later.

Bacuna - doesn't offer much, hasn't got the best attitude, but do we have a better rb? De Leat maybe but all in all we need a better one.

Elphick - He is a leader, yes, but not a good footballer, and an average defender on Championship level.

Chester - can't really rate him, as he's a little bit discreet. But that's not a bad thing.

Baker - goo,d important tackle on Gayle, but he's not a very good player.

Amavi - He feels so much more lively than Cissokho, and yes he's an offensive threat, but needs to improve on his defense, but defo the best full back we have.

Jedinak - very bad game, very slow, but he was not bad at Palace, so it's controversal that he's wank on Championship level. Give him a little bit more time.

Westwood - I can understand the frustration of seeing him play weekly, because he is far from an exciting, quality player, but either him or Jedinak has to play. And what I saw here, Westwood is better. But I don't say he's a better player as Jedinak, he really isn't.

Tshibola - I am really excited about him, as he is a good young player with some potential. And it seems like he's ready to proof himself as an important player in our future. He's already arguably our best central midfielder, and I am looking forward to see him start weekly. I hope RDM is not blind. When he isn't, he must start him, there is no excuse for letting him on the bench.

Adomah - He was a quality player at Boro the last couple of years, and I think he can be quality for us, too. But in this game Kodjia and Ayew where clearly in the spotlight.

Ayew - Hasn't had so many chances to really shoot on goal but when he has, he's so dangerous. Qualitywhise our best player (besides Kodjia) but he needs to start scoring goals.    One thing I really worry about is him and Kodjia beeing at the Africa Cup in the winter. That will really hurt us.

Kodjia - Fantastic second half, and even in the first half our best player. But again. He needs to start scoring goals too, because than we'll be fine, and we'll get back on track. He is also a really exciting player to watch. So we have some joy ladies and gentleman.

Gestede - poor footballer as u saw after the pass from Kodjia, but I also think RDM should use him constantly, as a sub or as a starter. That should depent on who's the opponent.

Hepburn-Murphy - nice talent, with desire. But u saw in the one scene that he's not ready yet. But RDM should continue to give him chances of the bench, and help him develop.

With Grealish and McCormack coming back, I see us winning the 1 of the next 2 games. Barnsley and Preston are not to underestimate, but we should beat them as we are one of the best teams in the league and they aren't.

Anyway good point in the end. But we need to play more offensively in the next games and stop trying out so many different systems.

Bunn better than Gollini? Christ, you must really think Gollini is shit.

That's got to be one of the worst insults a goalkeeper can receive.

Both are obviously not good enough but Bunn has more experience and hasn't been that bad.

And also in Fifa 16 Bunn had an +4 advantage over Gollini (73,69) so that seems more realistic.

You can easily switch them two. It is not that dramatical for me. ;)

  4. Hi. I would like to hear your suggestions on the player ratings of our players in Fifa 17.

Here are my suggestions. But before I start I want to say pls be a little bit realistic and not say Gabby 23 or Richards 44. :P

So I rate our squad like this:

    GK - Bunn 69

    GK - Gollini 68

    GK - Steer 67

    RB - Hutton 69

    RB - De Laet 72

    RB - Bacuna 70

    CB - Chester 74

    CB - Elphick 73

    CB - Richards 73

    CB - Baker 71

    LB - Amavi 76

    LB - Cissokho 71

    CM - Westwood 72

    CM - Jedinak 75

    CM - Tshibola 68

    CM - Lyden 64

    CM - Gardner 70

    LM - Grealish 72

    LM - Green 63

    RM - Adomah 73

    CF - McCormack 77

    ST - Ayew 76

    ST - Kodjia 74

    ST - Agbonlahor 69

    ST - Gestede 72

    ST - Kozak 68

    ST - Hepburn-Murphy 62

Have I forgotten someone? And what do u think about this topic? Let me know.

  5. The first Villa game I remember watching was an exciting game against Chelsea in the Martin O'Neill era.

It was a great performance by us, offensively at least.

I wish that team would still be around.:(

    I looked it up.

  6. Seems to be a very good player on Championship level.

But I gotta say. What I saw out of him on PL level (games against Sunderland and West Brom) was far from convincing.

Let's hope he can swing those crosses in for Rudy and Jonny.

We made very good Championship experienced/Championship proven signings. That should be the right way to get back up.

  7. Great signing.

Let's hope his first half of the season isn't that great (no Africa cup), and then he explodes in the second half.

We are Villa, so it will probably go according to plan, for the first half of the season...

****. U cant watch it from Germany.

First goal was clearly a header from Rudy after a cross from Cissokho (Oh I forgot that Cissokho cant cross, so I quickly edited my post...). But the other 2?

    Can someone pls tell.

    Anyway very nice victory.

We won 4-0 at Sunderland two seasons ago.

The last time we won by a bigger margin than 2 I think.

  9. Dominic Solanke on loan?

I think there is a chance for that to happen.

The question is, is he a 10+ goalscorer on Championship level already? For me yes when he gets the right service.

If we would get him I would buy 1 more striker tho and get rid of 2.
