I remember reading that statistic too and forgot about it...
Carlos has the second highest Pass Accuracy at 90%, Lenglet has 91%.
Kamara and Luiz both tied at 89%, Torres at 88%.

Even more impressive as he tries more progressive passes than Konsa.

Pen taker (Palmer) takes the pens, end of.
Embarrassing from Chelsea
Very! He's going for the golden boot. If he wants to give it up, fair enough, but it's his call. Fair play for shoving them away.

According to @Zatman Palmer should be at 'someone like Levante'

Puts his points across really well there and a very fair assessment of the game given his Arsenal bias. Fair play.
He's always come across a likeable guy, I didn't know he wasn't presenting anymore on there though. Unless they just rotate it now.

Tbf as one of their fans said they made 14m in 6 months for him which is damn good. For us it was steal. Who knows how good he'll be but could be worth upwards of 50m next season.
I did think we got him very cheap tbh. Some on here were saying we should move on when they wanted 15m
We weren't trying to sign because he's average, he was clearly viewed as having huge potential which we're getting glimpses of already.

Also, didn't realise how many goal contributions he'd quietly racked up this season.
10 in the league (6 goals 4 assists)
16 all comps (9 goals 7 assists)
Not bad at all.

Great to hear all the plaudits he has been getting in the media today. Lots of praise on MOTD2 as well.
He looked so switched on in that MOTD2 analysis. One step ahead of everyone.

I don't want to take anything away from him because he's absolutely brilliant, but his goal today takes a deflection of Smith-Rowe, right? He goes for a chip of sorts but it's the touch off the top of ESR's boot that loops it up over the keeper yeah? Might have gone in anyway but it's not quite the sublime chip I initially thought it was
Again, not trying to detract from him, he forces the goal either way and he's been sensational this season. Beautiful player.
I don't think it did deflect? I have only watched it 3,000 times since yesterday though so can't be too sure.

Another assist today
Yep and it was a superb one IMO. McGinn was calm enough to find Moreno, then when Moreno had it Digne was surrounded by defenders and it would have been easy to stay static. But, he makes an excellent run in behind (which Moreno found excellently) and then whipped in one hell of a ball.

It was 8/8 G + A in the league when he came on so guessing the Europa league added on.
Nearly 30 goal contributions is a brilliant season from any wide player. Saka's scored 18 in league and cup so Leon probably isn't too far behind that.
Bailey 13 goals 12 assists all comps. Saka 18 goals 13 assists. However, Bailey has played considerably less minutes (2,629) than Saka (3,345).

Behave! He's been phenomenal this season. Ridiculous comment. Just give credit where it due.
He looked fired up today and I regret the fair weather comment a bit, but his decision making can still improve.

We have missed Ramsey, we've missed the defensive work he does on that left hand side and general midfield play that goes so underrated. With best Ramsey we would have more points. Rogers is doing superbly though and the way he's going will get plenty of game time in the team with Ramsey, JR on the left and MR in the Number ten area
I'd disagree slightly with the general midfield play bit - Ramsey isn't the most confident in tight spaces - Rogers is better in that area.

Shines even more in games like that. Has the physicality to hold it up when we're under the cosh, and the technique/footwork to keep it in tight spaces. Classy player with strength. Rare.

Would we of beat Man City that day with Rodri in the side?
This is why I'm inclined to go for today's performance. Also, we had the momentum back then. We've been under the cosh and have been depleted today. Won at the Emirates without our two first choice CMs.

I completely agree!
id like nothing more than for Ollie to eclipse “Father of the year” Yorke and our all time record scorer Agbonlahor…
Frankly having those two as the figureheads for our scoring stats is a little bit embarrassing considering how much of a pair of tits they are
The dream would have been to have Benteke and Ollie as our top two.
