The few other saves he had to make he did well but there wasn't anything I wouldn't expect most keepers to make. I was disappointed with his distribution, there were a good few times he actually hit it too hard straight down the center and it went straight to Howard

That is the type of striker we should be targetting he is only 20 and been banging them in for fun.

Nah I'm sick of this going after young kids all the time. Part of the reason we're in this mess in the first place.

If you're replacing your 3rd/4th choice striker you should be looking at getting in a youngster in the hopes they can improve into your first choice.

I wouldn't like to see benteke replaced with an unproven youngster but replacing wireman should be fine

He had some good passes and runs and for the most part played well but there were times he got caught napping, either lingering on the ball or else standing and not making the run into space. Hopefully he can learn to do those things as he plays more and if he does he could be a very good player for us

Cole could work well in this game. Will help us open us space and he is a good set piece taker too

We've played well but have looked nervy when they are attacking. We can get another few goals but have to be careful to not let them get an foothold early in the second half
