  1. Been linked with so many players today.

Made an offer for Morgan Amalfito, who is a free agent, apparently.

Gil can't stomach the fight (or the UK) so is likely off. Plus we want Mandanda and the Bordeux Midfielder. Didn't expect so many links given our position and with Lerner.

    Glad Zoggy is off though.

  2. I think those are the sorts of signungs  we can expect. I would take toulalon though. He'd be a very good signing. Defenders we haven't been linked with any I don't think.

Well agree to disagree on Naismith I watched him quite slot last ear and he was a game changer in some matches. Even this year he done over Chelsea, more than we could do, he could still be brought for depth. What if  Verotout gets injured after January?

Walters is old yes but we need depth and We can play him over Gestede. Will be interesting to see our approach this window though.

Don't understand the love-in for either Walters or Naismith right now, at all.

They don't fit our system and they're not significant enough improvements (in my opinion) to warrant spending what would likely touch £9m on them both.

Naismith scores goals, works hard and performs fairly consistnstly unlike most of our current amazing players.

Walters won't cost more than 3 million At his age with his contract dispute going on. He will add goals and experience.

What system do we currently have they don't fit into exactly?

Amazes me when people think we can turn our noses up at players like this, do you realise our position?

    Who would you suggest signing?

we spent as much money in the summer that the whole Leicester squad equates to.

I would suggest the tomatoes get thrown at him for his decision of WHO spends that money and on whom,as opposed to the amount of money.

Fair  point. I meant putting money towards good proven players (Afobe, Austin etc) rather than spend money on more gambles.

  5. There is an awful lot of pessimism around here. Warranted of course, given our situation.

Despite our current plight, it's worth bareing in mind that Garde has had to face Man city, Southampton, Arsenal, an In-form Everton and Watford, who have one of the best away records in the league.

Now I know people will say "we've looked shit in those matches" or "we've only got 2 points more" but honestly, other than Watford, we've done okay. Not great, given we need wins but a start.

Garde's and Lerner' next 2-ish months will define this club and our future. Lerner with how he invests in January and defines his era as our "custodian". Garde of course with the fixtures and our results.

Sunderland, Norwich, West Ham, Newcastle. All games we should be fighting and getting points from. Our fixtures are easing up, and hopefully Garde will use more aggressive tactics and lineups. I have confidence still he can turn us around, and this will be our chance to do it.

If we are in a similar position in 2 months, with poor results / performances and hardly any points then maybe I'll change. But until  then I will keep believing. Having read my posters comments, I am thankful I'm not the only one who feels like this.

I hope Lerner will invest and I hope, given our fixtures, we will turn a corner.

Call me "deluded" or a "idiot", if you want, I understand. But being negative about the club we all love won't make us happy, Ill continue to back the club 110% and I know I'm not the only one.

  6. Didn't garde say he isn't any better than what we currently have?

Clearly needs to watch clips from the 2013-14 season of Kozk scoring then. Gestesde has dropped off recently. Need a spark somewhere.

    Better than Richardson.

    Richardson is utter shit

But Cole is 34, played for Roma 11 times last year, hasn't played since May, is expecting his first child, he's not the answer, I would seriously doubt his heart being in it

Also he's out of contract, if we were serious about signing him why isn't he training with us already? Where is he training?

I think it's a lazy LB + garde ex arsenal link that has no chance of happening

    Good points. P
