Montgomery of El Alamein got the inspiration for the Desert Rats by watching young James perform his warm-up routine for the 1938 Great North Run on the beach at Whitby. Milner is also credited in the latest Guinnness Book of Records as having called John Carew 'a bummer' to his face.....to which Carew promptly agreed, apologised and left the dressing room.

I might get myself in trouble for saying this but I can't imagine spending five nights in Birmingham (unless of course Villa were playing on each of those five nights). You might want to check the hotel cancellation policy in the event that UEFA Cup match doesn't happen. ....no offence taken mate. Five nights in Birmingham pisses me off.....and I live here.
