Coming into today it was 372 minutes - 5 goals.

    It's worse now.

As I posted earlier, his stats are quite mindboggling. Until today he had the best goals per minute ratio by a mile. Probably still does to be fair although it'll have taken a big hit.

  2. With stats like these I think he has every right to expect to be a starting player. Obviously we know that he's not going to be displaying Ollie any time soon and he has a lot to learn still, but realistically I wouldn't blame him at all for keeping half an eye on opportunities at other clubs if he's likely to be a starter.IMG_20240519_155146_(520_x_538_pixel).png.576e7327501a33e91aa8ed9b85446e03.png

  3. The latest episode of Doctor Who was a huge improvement over the first two dreadful episodes.

Stephen Moffat back with a tense, dramatic character episode. Not quite up there with his best but at least it kept me captivated for the entire episode, which is no mean feat considering it pretty much featured a man standing in one spot for forty minutes.

So Tom Brady invested a total of 3.3p into the club?

He's just a figurehead though right? They basically gave him some free shares as a gift to be "the  face" of the club surely?  This doesn't on the face of it seem especially unusual to me, albeit I don't really know much about the whole situation.

I think this is true for the 99%, but there's just something about a naturally aspirated petrol engine and a manual gearbox

EVs are great for the commute, but they're just not as fun or engaging if cars and driving is something you do for fun - even if they're faster. My EV beats the shit out of my old MX5 off the line, could run absolute rings around the thing on a track, on top of that it's more practical, more comfortable, safer, quieter, has far more kit in it, but it's just nowhere near as fun.

I appreciate most people couldn't give a toss about that though

Oh, I love my Kona electric. Every time I'm in it I just think, "why haven't cars always been like this."

But... there is a place for lightweight, fun, dynamic petrol sports cars imo. As you say, it's a different experience entirely.

It's interesting - the seats aren't really in areas where you'd expect hospitality - so if there a way to get (a good amount) more seats in by removing them and changing the layout?

I guess the replacement of them for logos or similar makes most sense.

I'd guess Adidas are prepared to pay a lot more to have that than we are to have it say AV - and every decisions this club makes on the stadium is about revenue.

Yep. It's not far removed from renaming the North Stand the Adidas Stand.

good to have ozzy/sabbath because of the connection - Paranoid, played a little earlier (and was bizarrely played after goals scored a few years ago?) sounds alright as an intro, but the lyrics are a weird fit. Crazy Train is a strange choice, kinda embarrassing really. Never Say Die by Black Sabbath would be more fitting and has a "boys are back in town" feel, and the lyrics, at least the title, are go-get-em rawk. I dunno. My favourite Sabbath song is Neon Knights, which is a real rouser, but doesn't feature Ozzy.

I think Sabbra Cadabra would work well

I’d prefer there was no music and no stupid pyrotechnics. Just the crowd.

God, those pyrotechnics are just horrid aren't they? Not exactly classy.
