  1. we may have some idiots in our team at the moment but I the past we have had some amazing players and men, not many more so than Stan.

If he was ever to run out wearing the claret and blue again- even for a minute his acheivements would surpass more than most players could ever dream of.

Great to have such a positive, inspiring story. Go on Stan!

    You have missed something relevant.

Gabby is a man well paid to do frankly, not much at all. The very minimum you expect of him if that he is the appropriate physical condition to do his job.:snip:

I can assure you - I would be ashamed to conduct myself in his manner. I don't earn as much as him and I've got my flaws, but I would be cognizant of the position I am in and stnad up and be counted.

The only thing you count on Gabby is the spare tires. You know his age by counting the rings around his **** midriff.

This post contains more effort, pride and passion than Gabby has all season .

  3. Whatever you think of Stan, rightly or wrongly, you cannot disagree with what he had said. At least we have someone who can vent our frustrations about the state of our club to a wider audience.

  4. So we basically want/ need the players gone (some), the manager replaced, Lerner out and all the rest dumped( Fox, Reilly etc) keeping the kit man, tea lady, ticket office staff and grounds man.

Then we can concentrate on coming back up! VTID!

  5. I think in the boards eyes Garde was exactly the right appointment: good bringing through young players, working on a tight budget etc. The only problem was they forgot we were in a relegation battle and needed to sort that out first before dealing with building foundations for the future.

As it now turns out we have had an inexperienced manager (in terms of the English league and the pressures of being at the bottom) and a group of inexperienced players. Both put together have been a disaster. Unfortunately they have not had a group of experience pro's who are ready to roll their sleeves up when the muck hits the fan to help out as the ones we have are seemingly happy for the manager to take the flack.

Its a shame that we may not get to see what Garde could have done (and possibly some of the players- Vertout, Gana etc) whilst being comfortably mid- table.

  6. Moved to Devon from kingstanding nearly 20 years ago. Then moved back to Brum for 6 months before moving to Leeds. Been here now for 15 years. Really like it as there is a great contrast between city and countryside. Don't really miss Brum, just friends, old haunts etc.

Would like to live by the sea again soon.

  7. I was at the game Saturday and it certainly was a strange atmosphere, all the chanting you heard on the video was coming from the terraces towards the end of the game (from some fans)

What frustrates me is that the players may not be at the required level to compete but surely they can run, hassle and put pressure on the opposition. We were up against O'shea and Wes Brown who are possibly the oldest pairing in the league yet they seemed to have such an easy game and time on the ball.

There seemed to be a complete lack of motivation, desire and concentration which Remi should be instilling. Confidence is a big factor but surely at this stage we should just be rolling our sleeves up and getting stuck in if nothing else, we really have nothing to lose.

I am a supporter of Remi but not sure if his methods are getting across at the moment, we are playing with no heart.

  8. Going to this so I'll sing, shout and scream until I'm horse- then hopefully go home happy!

I actually think we will win this, Sunderland have plop tonight so will have tiredness as a ready made excuse for when we beat them!

    UTV!

  9. Watched it last week with my wife. We both really enjoyed it. The sad thing is I can't/ won't take my five year old son to see it. Pretty strange that we left him with grandparents whilst we watched it and then he got lots of Star Wars toys for Christmas.
