They have a couple of weddings booked in, and a company has hired the pitch I believe. This was in place before we made it to the Cup Final. Hence why they can't open the ground up and show it on a big screen.
Haha. The best part of all that is that the weddings are more likely than not Villa fans. How unlucky must you be to have planned your wedding day for then!

Who is getting the Chiltern down? £29 for open day return or £34 with a Travelcard seems pretty good to me.... any other Villa Talkers making the trip down by train?

2 for me.

You think celebrating on the pitch is worse than throwing seats onto people's heads?
Seems a bit odd to me.
I don't care about the fine to be honest. It feels over the top but we deserve some sort of fine so sod it. Whatever.
Not condoning that at all. Typically FA - inconsistent and all over the shop.
I agree with the hefty fine for invasions during the game. I don't agree with the blind eye to WBA fans.

Must be in the minority for thinking it's exactly what we deserved. We let a bunch of morons on the pitch, before the game had finished. Others will receive a samller fine as it was after the game ONLY and rightly so.

With a little one I find it hard to get to many games and have only made it to 4 this season. Used to regularly attend 10-14+
I am ashamed to say but I have managed to secure a ticket through the corporate machine where I work. Have to take a couple of clients so cant go mad on the beer but I am on cloud 9 right now.
Mate you shouldn't be ashamed, you're going to the FA Cup final. If I was in your position I would do the same. Not sure how good I would be watching it with clients though, I normally go mental when Villa are playing!

* After the top six in the Premier League, we are he third most watched club in Europe after Real and Bayern Munich
I find that really hard to believe!

EE have a competition for 25 pairs of tickets
Really??? My Dad got a phone with them about a month ago, suppose I should pester him to enter
And you can enter for every account you have. Me and the wife both have EE phones as well as EE Home broadband so we got 3 entries.

Got my ticket. So, so happy! COYVB!

Still in queue. About 75% of the way there...

Waiting patiently online...

Have to wait until Wednesday! Squeaky bum time!

That picture looks shopped! Haha, he looks so out of place there.

Win this and we could very well be safe ahead of the last game! COYVB!

Cheers Arsenal. Same again against Sunderland, please. Don't expect any favours from us at the end of the month though!

Nice! I've already got mine - thought £25 in the lower holte centre was cheap!

Seriously guys - you can get 20 months interest free purchases credit cards (ive just ordered a clydesdale one) - no fees and just set up a DD to clear the debt at a level suitable to yourself....
I know you can, but if I can pay off over 9 months it's less hassle then opening a new card, closing it etc. It's still a useful option and it is interest free so it's really much less hassle than a credit card.
Anyway, I applied last night and am just waiting confirmation that everything is set up. Can't wait to be going back on a regular basis. My ST is in L7.

Might be back for next season, had been a season ticket holder for 8 seasons, but didn't renew this year due to buying a house and the weekly matches became more of a habit.
Been to quite a few games this season and when you don't go often, no matter what result its actually quite enjoyable, I've missed going!
This although I missed the last couple of seasons as I also was saving for my post-graduate course as well. All paid off now, mortgage payments are the norm and now it's time to "treat" myself to a ST. Will be renewing with Zebra before this weekend to get myself in the ballot (I am eligible for cup tickets in May but I worry they will all be gone by then).

37 points I reckon

Too young to remember 94 (I would have been 5) and too young to appreciate 96 although I watched the game!
This would mean a hell of a lot to me....

Ok boss. Either way, everything isn't as rosy as people are making it out to be.
WRONGNothing has changed
If we take care our own business we will stay up
Our destiny is still in our hands
Wrong. If Sunderland and Leicester win and draw their games in hand respectively, we have to match every result in some way as they will both be ahead of them. It is out of our own hands in that respect. If Leicester lose tomorrow then we just after match or better Leicester's last 3 games. I will feel better if Chelsea batter them tomorrow night.
Rosy? What forum have you been reading mate?
some people are way too calm, that's all!!
I am not calm!! Although I do think we will pick up points, I'm concerned others will pick up more!

Ok boss. I'm presuming I'm being shot down because Leicester and Sunderland play each other.

Soon to be renamed Gil syndrome
All joking aside, I think we need a new No1 next year. Not sure if either of them are good enough on a regular basis.
