I'm off skiing at the beginning of March with a few mates - likely destination being Soll in Austria. Wondering whether anybody has been here and got any reccomendations on where to stay?

Also, i'm a bit of a novice (had a few lessons but thats it) and need to buy some ski clobber - anyone got a good website where i can get the best prices on jackets, goggles etc?

I probably can't offer much advice here, it's been 15 years since i skied there, although it is (was) about a mile from the town centre to the first lift. The year we went there was so much snow that if you had enough momentum when you got to the bottom of the last run back home, then you could ski all the way into town. In fact i have some footage somewhere of the wife doing just that! All the way to the Hotel Post right on the corner in th centre.

I liked Soll. Not too hard, some great cruising runs, and linked villages. You can ski in a different area every day. And it had some good nightlife too!

While I agree that the vast majority of American lagers are terrible, there are exceptions: Sam Adams Boston Lager and Winter Lager come to mind

When i was last in the states with the family i took your advice with the Sam Adams, nice it was too!! My local offy has got me some in the past, although it's hellishly expensive.

So, got me a PS3, and now i need a wheel for it. I'm getting F1 2011 next week and i would like to have the wheel before the game. I've been on Amazon and looked at various wheels, and read all the reviews for them, some good, some bad. There does't seem to be much difference between all of them. I don't want to spend a fortune but at the same time the cheap ones might be a pile of poo.

So, do you have a wheel? If so, which one? Any help wil be appreciated.

Funny, we watched the season 4 finale last night. In fact we watched the whole 12 eps in just four nights! The trouble is, it is too watchable! I think season 5 is airing in the States now/soon. Stick with it, it gets better and better.

It seems to me that this whole "Champions(when were the scousers last champions)" league only exists to basically enrich 8 clubs!

Inter, and probably 2 more i can't think of. If Citeh do qualify, and i think they will finish 3rd or above, then so be it. Maybe then, things will change for the better. Although i very much doubt it will. the so called "top" clubs will all close ranks and change the rules to kick Citeh and any other upstarts from the competition. If Citeh do finish in the top 3, expect the market to go ballistic. I for one would welcome anything that breaks the stranglehold these clubs have on the top money. I don't watch Champions League footie, apart from Le Arse(because secretly i like the way Wenger's sides play),i find it all too predictable.
