  1. Very quick interview, this is basically everything he said:

    Stan Petrov

“Stan is doing well, looking forward to starting his treatment to rid himself of the illness”

    On Villa’s form

“I believe we will be OK, we do have a lot of young players at the moment, Injuries have been an issue but senior players are on their way back. Need to get right behind the youngsters. Form hasn’t been excruciatingly bad, spirited performance by the kids against Chelsea”

    On the Birmingham issue

“He is aware of the dislike at his appointment, avoided media to ignore it and focus on the training, would jump off a bridge if he read all that was in a media”

“The chairman and the board have been open and honest with how the club is going to be run!!”

“A minority of Villa fans are deluded and will never accept him, majority have been good towards him and the players”

“Fans must get on board, we performed really well against Chelsea and the fans gave us that extra 10%”

Nothing there to be honest. But I am guessing Mcleish didnt describe the fans as deluded. That is your interpretation?

In response to a statement made by Big Sam about West Ham fans earlier in the week in which he called some West Ham fans deluded he gave the response that he agreed that a minority of Villa fans are the same and won't accept him, but no, he didn't actually say the words deluded.

  3. All these people calling for mcleishs head... Can one of you tell me what good it would do to sack him now and more importantly who could we get to replace him? And please dont say kevin mcdonald

    Alan Curbishley?

To be fair, Dave at number 47 woudl be a better option than this muppet.

This "who would we get to replace" argument is begining to wear thin. How many times has it been asked and answered, but 10 pages later, up it pops again.

Dave at 47 wouldn't come here, not enough ambition shown by the club, plus he has a better win record than McLeish and hasn't suffered relegation....

  4. You know what we need, We need big Olof back, he won't stand for any of this shit!

Yes but last time he saw Mcleish he was manager of SHA so he is likely to thump him!

    Big SHA hater I think.

Trying to find the picture of Olof using his fingers to show the score after we beat them 5-1. Lets get that on a banner for a slightly more subtle McLeish out! statement.

  5. Look, you may all be right, he may be a load of dog poo, but hold on a mo

You don't beat Arsenal in the Cup final playing negatively.

We were confronted with a different Blackburn attitude in the second half....thats down to the players.

The bloke is fxxxed if he does and fxxxed if he don't.

I think our results are shit and am upset, but a point away from a team fighting for its life. I agree the fact we led for most of the game is disappointing.... but drawing at home is far more gauling.

just trying to put being pissed off in to perspective.

dropping points at home is the time to feel rightfully aggreived.

erm, what now? you don't beat an Arsenal team in a cup final by playing negative football? Yes you do, that's exactly what they did, they had 3 shots on target the whole game and scored 2 goals, add in the fact that they needed a complete Arsenal **** up to win the game and you have some spectacularly negative football.

  6. Judged after one game. Hilarious.

A young footballer on the playing field at school may only get one chance to impress a visiting scout from a top club..This is football mate and the game is to impress, win and earn your place in the team. Any scout watching him today would swiftly move on to another.

Come off it, you can't compare a kid to someone who already is a professional playing his first game for a new club.

  7. Jamie Redknapp said in his review of the transfer day deadline on SkySports that Hutton & his Dad weren't on the same wave length, or something to that affect, so his fall down the pecking order isn't purely down to his ability
