I liked Tyler with Andy Gray. Don't think he has had a better rapport with the co-commentators since. Probably should have left a while ago.

We can't turn on Unai at the first sign of a bad run.

Can I just say WOW. We have the best fans. We were in the Upper Trinity. Atmosphere was phenomenal. Group of four of five fans sitting in row in front were some craic and had great craic with me and my son. He had a ball and wants to go Philladelphia for pre season!!! Wallet can't take that
Public transport was top class. We had to leave about 10 mins after the final whistle to get back to airport and got mingling with a lot of Brighton who done themselves proud as well. Great craic. I didn't realise they had a big rivalry with Palace but they sang their hearts out on the train back to New Street.
All in all a fantastic day out and memories for life for my wee man. He can't get wait to get going again next season. Buzzing.

Stoked for this, my first game back in about 15 years. My sons first game, finished his chemo 6 months ago so he is looking forward to this big time. Can't wait. Atmosphere should be unreal no matter what happens.

Why does Dermot Gallagher protect these refs? Beyond a joke.

we was knocked off the ball with such ease today, it was scarey.
sure teams foul us.....but that was a low today.
Its a big job IMO.....not a tweak here and there.
I don't think the squad needs a MAJOR overhaul. If we can get 4 quality players to come in to start with current first teamers dropping to bench. If the boss wants to cull the squad, so be it. Don Unai will know what he needs by now I'd say and I will support whatever he wants to do with the squad.

I think that's it for Europe, but hey, we can't complain. He had a mountain to climb to haul us up the table. It's not often we're at the end of a season still playing for something. Big push for next season. Can't wait.

I am not going to be annoyed if we don't get Europe. Emery had a tough job to turn the team around. He has hauled us up the table. He has made a great start and soon he will have a full summer to tinker with things. He'll know what he needs to do.

Hey all, managed to bag two tickets for me and my boy to go over. Coming over from Ireland. Looking to go there and back on same day but thinking fly out Saturday and do a Stadium Tour if available and could look at a premier inn close to the stadium. So early flight from Belfast into Birmingham lands at 1200 on the Sunday, would we be giving ourselves enough time to get to the stadium and mingle take in the atmosphere etc? Do trains operate between the airport and stadium? What would people recommend for transport? Our first game eeeek.

Sorry for the bump, can any members confirm if tickets for Brighton are on sale yet. Says 5pm on the website but my son and I refreshing our accounts after being in a queue but it says coming soon. Is this the same for others?

Myself and son are members. We've waited in the queue on the website and got redirected to the ticket page but the message is saying coming soon. Is it open for you?

Can't win 'em all.

Yes he is a bit of a footballing dinosaur and not particularly a progressive chairman. I feel like for all the good he does his limitations hold us back.
I wouldn't say he came from the Ellis School of running a football club.

Dermot Gallaghers defence of the handball not given should be interesting on Ref Watch

BT comms trying to justify that not being a penalty. Stone Wall penalty.

I got excited reading this and looked at hotel prices. £1500 for a room with a shared bathroom
Not surprised. Dublin is quite possibly the biggest rip off city in Europe if not the world.

The footballs that my kids are kicking about now are poor quality conpared to the one's (mitre deltas at all) that I kicked around when I was a kid.
Official balls are like £100 or something like that like? They're like the kits, gotta a cheap version and player version.
