Did he really leave on such bad terms that he has bitterness towards us? I remember him leaving but not how or why.

Let's be honest, he was coup for us at the time, but as his injury record has shown there was a reason none of the "bigger" clubs went near him and he signed for us. Clearly talented but his body can't cope with top level sport and the demands that go with it.
Hopefully, we recoup most of what we paid and his wages off the books.
Appreciate taking the paycut to join and a shame it didn't work out.
I wish him well.

Wonder what his thoughts were during Duran's goal.
"Don't celebrate, it's an embarrassing goal to concede."
Or
"All those long hours and preparation and they just throw us a goal."
Not sure why but there are certainly some goals he celebrates more than others. There were even some winners where he continued assessing and planning but other goals he definitively celebrates.
You could picture Klopp or Arteta sprinting up and down the sideline celebrating that goal. Fortunately, Unai has a bit of class and manners.

Chelsea one down with Chuk in no man's land for the goal

Didn't look happy coming on and a bit of "side eye" at Duran at the end.

Hope we do them. Sky Sports actually had them in the list as title challengers with Chelsea and Spurs. Sky Sports jokers really.

Significant knee ligament injury.
That doesn't sound good.
