The improvement of Leeds and Newcastle is pretty grim to watch. Marsch hired after Gerrard and Howe around the same time. Whilst we are regressing under Gerrard.

This right here is why Gerrard won't be in the job much longer. McGinn is our weak link in midfield and should have been replaced last summer.  Gerrard not seeing this is concerning.

This.  Unfortunately Dean hit his ceiling with us and it was right to move him on.  We didn't replace him with better though.  All our steady progress we have made over the last few years is being undone by Gerrard. 

We should have been speaking to Pochs representatives after the Bournemouth debacle, gauging any interest. 

Anyway, Purslow needs to get next appointment right because he's ballsed this one up.

Almost 10 months and absolutely no improvement.  Defensively all over the place. 

I don't think this system that he has banged on about is working.  

We had Tactics Tim now we have System Steve. 

Konsa should be hooked at half time. 

We seemed to have abandoned defensive coaching lately.

Yea they probably have these things timed to post.  If it is his achilles tendon then it would have been made a lot worse after the physio was stretching him for cramp.

Dropping the leader of the group is obviously going affect the squad and I think that showed on Saturday.  We know he has his lapses in concentration but he is still the leader, armband or not.  Gerrard calling him out will backfire. Tyrone will be here longer than Gerrard. 

Didn't the players 'demand' a tactics change with Smith before lockdown?

Something similar might be required here I think.
