General, I apologise if you have been asked this question a thousand times but when is the Peter Withe stand going to be put back to its righteous name? I believe the naming of this stand is a big part of the history which Randy is eager to communicate to the world.

Hi General, I'm not sure if you read other parts of the site, and if you do whether you came accross the article below in the link. If you haven't it's really worth a couple of minutes out to read it. It mimicks exactly how I feel, and I'm sure many other Villa fans around the country who are unable to express their feelings quite so clearly. In short, I know there have been hard times in the past, and there will be more in the future, but right now it is not an exageration to say that I am seeing the best football, and most enjoyable football in my 20 years of supporting the Villa. 1) General, will you be coming out of military retirement for the Liverpool game? 2) On a more serious note, do you feel that the actions of the new generation of players such as Barry has a detrimental effect on the Premier League? And if so, do you feel as though actions should be taken to stop transfers such as this one happening in the future? I have very limited knowledge of the way that the American sports work, but it appears to me that limits on what a club can spend on a player and other restrictions would be highly beneficial to the continued success of the Premier League. 3) I read today that a work permit for a very good young foreign player that the fat waiter (Benitez) was trying to sign was rejected. Benitez's immediate response to the permit being turned down was a demand that the rules be changed, simply because it did not fit into Liverpool's current demands. Doesn't that make you want to slap him around the face with a wet fish? Unfortunately these clubs seem to always get their way, so shouldn't something happen to stop them demanding and receiving?

General, Even though I have been reading VT for a long time, I have never felt the desire to post anything until today. The frustration of the fans is coming to a head and in doing so most are not thinking with their brains. I am delighted that we have the board and owner that we currently do and it would be disasterious if any of these other fans were in charge instead. Can they not see that we have the best owner and board in the league? Can they not see that we are building for the future? Can they not see that having a Spurs style assult in the transfer market is not only unsuccessful but also expensive? Unfortunately people only seem to shout when they are unhappy, so please know that there are still many fans who aren't shouting in these forums who are delighted with the way the club is being run, and would be absolutely devastated should the board loose interest and leave. I can see that we are building something for the future. We may not be great next season, but one day we will be great. Good times are around the corner... and it's the very same fans that are slating MON and Randy today that will be cheering them in jubilation in the future. Keep up the great work.
