Surprised by how many people want Spurs to beat Newcastle. I honestly think 4th is gone so best we can hope for is 5th. Newcastle beat Spurs, and we beat Spurs at home and we'll overtake them.

fantastic atmosphere...best in a long time
might i make one tiny gripe? i was surprised to see how many left early. i get the game was won and for many it's probably just habit, but the main (only?) advantage for 12.30 kick offs is that you've got all afternoon to get home and even if you live 4 hours away you'd still make any dinner plans. i 100% get it for evening matches, but for a lunchtime kick off, surely stay till the end and drink in the celebrations...performances like that don't come around often
People even left early when we beat United at home for the first time in what 28 years. I saw some people leave today on 80 minutes. I just don't get it. I think Doug Ellis is the worst stand for it from what i can see anyway. As you said i get it for evening games especially with kids and i get there may be the odd person that has to be somewhere for a certain time for an odd match that leaves early but its always the same people round me leaving early every week

This is 100% an Emery decision, not Emi. Can see from all the interviews how driven he is and he'd want to play. Remember when he went to visit his dad in hospital and flew back for the match? It'll be as he hasn't trained enough and while i appreciate that for outfield players, not a goalkeeper. Im sorry but if we lose this, it's on Emery.

Voted 1 but not in love with either. The lion flipping makes everything look wrong IMO (and my tattoo of the lion on my leg now being wrong too as i went with that over the crest as a safe option haha)

Thought he was rubbish against City and he was even worse today. Would rather one of the kids in goal

Was there. Infuriating game as we absolutely dominated. West Ham just took 2 of their 3 chances and we couldn't. Daly should have taken the penalty so Carla Ward wasn't happy with that. Dirty play for West Ham even in the first half from their keeper on Daly. Lucky to still be on the with pitch so of course she saves the penalty

It was showing as sold out when i looked earlier but just looked again and they've added another block

Now the deadlines passed i'd be really interested to know how many haven't renewed. Doubt they'll release the numbers mind

43%? We're you in one of the zones that doesn't exist now
Yup, zone 6. So 2 Zone jumps plus the 10%

Let's hope he reacts better this coming year than last years winner!
Last years winner was Martinez? Targett got player's player not the supporters one

Just renewed myself. Despite the 43% increase i just can't give up my ticket yet. If it goes up significantly again though i'll be out. Wouldn't mind a few people near me not renewing mind.

I was Zone 6 so mine has jumped up £161, a 43% increase. I'm debating what to do but i may give it one more year. Before we had discount in the shop (i know they've sold it off) and free vouchers for food and drink. We get nothing now. No phone signal, long queues so can't buy anything, queues for the train or horrendous traffic depending on how i get there.
I do appreciate we were cheap but they could have kept the zones and just done a 10% increase across the board and that would be it. My brother is on the waiting list though has no plans to actually get one. Yeah it may still be busy next season but if we don't improve, they'll soon see the numbers drop

I have a zone seat 6. I think i may be priced out if I'm moving zones plus the 10%.

Goes without saying that the cost of living with everything shooting up, it's the wrong time for such a steep increase. Families are already going to struggle and let's be honest the revenue this would create is a drop on the ocean to them.

Uploaded an Instagram story last night out for a meal with his mrs. Usually they are in a hotel the night before a game, assume he must be out unless it's a random upload of an old story.
I did the stadium tour last week and the guide said the players now just drive in themselves for home matches. Something Gerrard has done away with

Makes no sense. Leaves us short, if there's an injury to Digne. He's definitely decent as a back up till at least the summer and also it's helping out Newcastle. A team that if they stay up, which they should do based on January incomings, will no doubt beat us to every player we want in the summer/ will be competing against to get in the top 4.

If you start aged 7 in the academy then 100 percent you are a villa fan.
Louie Barry was at baggies from 6 years old so not always the case

Not the most important thing but does anyone know if he's a Villa fan? Noticed in his interview he said it meant a lot coming from the academy rather than being a fan. It would help maybe keep him for longer if he was, but then again, we know if the bigger clubs come knocking it probably wouldn't count for much anyway.
Great 2nd half performance yesterday. He's come on leaps and bounds this season.

No from me unless he is completely cleared in the future. As someone who has been sexually assaulted, don't want anyone like that representing my club.

Has anyone had definite confirmation yet that if you sell your season ticket seat via resale and the game gets postponed that you get your season ticket seat back?
I'm having trouble believing they'll just take the ticket back off the buyer.
I'm asking this because I don't know whether to put my ticket up for sale for Chelsea - thanks.
I emailed and was told they would contact me when Burnely was re arranged so have also sold my Chelsea ticket. I imagine if the person who buys your seat gets a refund then you'll get your seat back, otherwise will be somewhere else in the ground

I just hope they announce what's happing soon. I've got Covid so can't go but don't want to put my seat up for resale like Burnley on the chance its rescheduled and i lose my seat
-
I'm gutted as i sold my ticket back to Villa as i have Covid and now i may have to miss the new game.

No phone signal either with Three in the stadium.
Also echo websites are a mess
And PLEASE can we get control of our shop again. Fanatics are useless
Season tickets 2023/24

Mine went up 40% this season and now it'll be going up another 15%. Shocking. As people have said what they generate from match tickets is peanuts compared to other revenue but i suppose demand is there.
