I have no sympathy with Netanhyahu at all, he's vile, but I kind of don't expect to see any main UK party leader, be that Sunak or Starmer, or whoever, to be so blunt as to say so, or to call him a war criminal (even though I think he clearly is).
The previous guy would have.
It was nice, for a while, to have a conviction politician at the helm.

Another note, while people like Obama hard charm, swagger, political savvy and could talk the pants off a Nun.
Worth remembering during his tenor they were routinely drone bombing the shit out of the region as well.
Many civilian casualties
People sing Obama's praise from the rooftops.

Although having said that, I really hate the BBC are currently reporting on the genocide on the news on BBC 6 music.
They talk about the bombing and genocide and humanitarian crisis going on, but then 'balance' this up by continually, every broadcast, reminding us that this is in response to Hamas murdering and kidnapping Israeli people 2 weeks ago.
We know. It's like they're trying to justify these murderous Israeli actions.

Yeah I watched a bit of that bit didn't connect it to the Israeli genocide going on in Palestine. Just was an interesting documentary.

Interestingly, in Cheshire East Council, as from January, you will have to pay extra to have your green waste bin emptied.
You have to opt into this scheme. It's absolutely bonkers. They introduced those shitty little green plastic indoor food waste things a year or so ago. Now they're trying to charge people for recycling food and compost waste. Isn't this what council tax covers?
I won't and can't afford to pay extra. So into the general black bin it goes ....

1. People hate politicians making false promises: Promise nothing
2. People hate divided parties, so to cover the division in the party a complete vow of silence from all members and MPs must be adhered to between now and the next election.
I thought for a minute you were talking about Labour under Starmer

Yep, I’m a Count Binface/Green hybrid with a hint of Labour
Yep. I'm up in the 90% regions for Count Binface, greens, labour, lib dems, women's equality etc.
25% and lower for tories and reclaim.
Seems about right.

Wilderness, six parter starring Jenna Coleman.
Got through three and a half episodes before the football, decent stuff, although I’d be happy just watching Jenna read the phone book in her undies
Yeah I've seen the whole thing. Fairly decent if obviously far fetched. But yeah Clara is obvs a great reason to watch too.

I’ve just finished a long questionnaire online. Very detailed questions and I was surprised with the results although maybe I shouldn’t as I’ve always leaned more to Conservative . I was wondering where I’m currently at.
65% Conservative
65% Reclaim Party
57% Animal Welfare
51% Social Democratic
51% Labour
50% Women’s Equality
Have you got a link to this questionnaire Ruge? I'd be interested in having a pop. Some of these things can be skewed to prod you to vote in a certain manner ....

Michael Gambon gone, such a shame. So many great performances. For some reason his role in Layer Cake is jumping to mind for me

Anyone fancy actually having a pop at the question that was in my post?
If a few of them "positive" testimonies from people were included would it have changed the publics perception of him following the Dispatches program?
I'm not sure it's massively relevant tbh. The fact that some women have had a positive experience with him doesn't negate the rapey bits.

A few "positive" things that I've read about Brand over the last few days
Georgina Baillie has said that while she doesn't disbelieve the women, she can't see Russell Brand as a rapist, she also pointed out that after the "sachsgate" Brand paid for her rehab and pretty much saved her life
Rhian Sugden said that when she was with Brand he was always pleasant and treated her very well, she also says that Dispatches and reporters were knocking on her parents door trying to get her to speak out on him
Kristen Bell said that despite threatening to "sock him in the bollocks" if he tried anything, she loved working with him and may be the only woman in the world who would scream it from the rooftops (even though this was after filming Sarah Marshall so she was possibly saying it during the publicity for the film)
One of his exes has said that Dispatches kept on badgering her asking for an interview via phone (to protect the girls being spoken to or to ensure that there is no evidence of what was discussed) she told them that she had nothing bad at all to say about him and they basically said that wasn't what they were looking for and didn't want to speak with her again
Dispatches and the times has said that they spoke with hundreds of people during their investigation, I wonder how many of these people actually said that despite being a bit of a prick who slept around he didn't do anything wrong to them?
I wonder how the publics opinion would have been affected if there were a few positive or even neutral stories about him in there.
They felt that someone saying he walked about in his pants was worthy of mention but not a single positive account from someone that was actually in a relationship with him.
Again (I feel like I need to stress this every time I post something in here) I am not on Brands side, I am not doubting the women that have come forward.
In conclusion: he didn't sexually harass or rape every woman he's ever met.
Good on him.

Another one on the list
It’s rare I ever want to do an arena show anyway but I’ve never been to a good arena
In fact Pete’s reminded me of that Bunnymen gig which as arenas go was alright because a) it wasn’t remotely sold out because bumped into people I hadn’t seen in ages by wandering around a bit and the downstairs was standing only
Where's b) ?
