Just finished TMITHC, I found it rather underwhelming. It's not bad in anyway but it just doesn't to click.

Over 60k caps, 4 days solid of my play time has been dedicated to looting and selling shit though. I have enough fusion cores that I could wear my power armour to finish off the story without having to pick anymore cores up.

I think I'm locked into the minutemen ending, but I've been avoiding progressing the story anymore to prolong the experience.

Please say that's a euphemism...

Around the houses is excessive, but a perimeter fence is not a bad thing. I've started making a horseshoe or square building around my perimeter  to limit access for raiders, bonus points if you then add an entry corridor with traps and turrets.

Best piece of advice for early on is get Paladin Clooney as your companion asap, he's a portable meatshield and gives you a weapon that is very strong with a few mods.

Before you scrap any weapons you find check their mods, it's always worth taking out the more powerful ones to save until you get a legendary version. You just need to remember to store the mods in a workbench.

They're everywhere, I had to dump about 75 into a storage locker at a settlement to free up some room in my inventory.

2mm EC, now they are rare, I found about 5 in the wasteland any more I've got were from traders.

I get 5 attempts, found a perk magazine somewhere or other to give me an extra try. 

First guess should be the one with the most common letters in it, then you can normally eliminate all of them or all the others.

I've done more than 50 terminals and only had to restart 2-3 times using this method.

That was my thought too regarding counter attacking. I'll be trying it out when I start my Villa save.

There are a couple of new features this year, one being quite pertinent to what you've said. The overall squad personality can have an effect on player personality, I think it happens until they're around 24 depending on adaptability. It might be too late for Grealish, but if you're finding youth players with poor personalities it's now more worthwhile in taking a gamble.

There's also been a simplification in the way mentality works. Now it mainly affects the space between the lines with Very Fluid being the most compact and then increasing to Highly Structured being the least compact. It still affects creative freedom with it being being reduced as you move from Very Fluid to Highly Structured.

Their researcher is clearly biased, such a shame ours has always been honest.

Hows Lincoln turn out? had him on my shortlist all season but I had more pressing concerns for depth at FB.
