No you have to play him ahead of Digne. No sentimentality non sense.

Moreno will create chances. He is on a different level attacking wise.

Think you misunderstood, of course we have to play him instead of Digne , just thinking maybe we can try him in a more central no 10 role occasionally instead of LB against very low block team as his attacking skill / close ball control is best in squad now, till Tielemann is fit to take over.

I watched lots of Citeh game as my son is fan and the master against low block team Pep often use Cancelo who's a LB, drift into the middle as a no 10 to great effect, and was their most effective attacking player in those 2 seasons, overshadowing even Grealish before he fallout with Pep and left.

  2. With most teams, besides the top 6 employing very low block against us, & we don't have proper creative no 10 to unlock tight defence, maybe we can try Moreno as a temporary 10, maybe till Tielemann returns?

Remember in previous instance he did drift into the middle and he does have good close ball control & skill , he could offer a temporary solution. Just a thought.

  3. Almost all of top 6 have a creative no 10 that will have higher chance of unlocking low blocks :

Ars/Odergaad   Liv/Salah, Elliot  City / KDB, Silva, Foden. Spurs /Maddison, Lo Celso, Toons / Guimaraes

With Buendia still months away, and if we don't have FFP room to buy, any if our kids still step up? Louie Barry, Kellyman etc ?

Coutinho is done. His legs have gone

Agreed and everyone can see that, but if we can't spend money due to buy new shiny creative no 10,  how ?

Or we can sell some of current squad to free up cash to buy? Can't think of our current first 11 squad that's not needed. Also can't loan any more as quota used up.

Most lower & mid table team will low block like last night, really urgently need a creative no 10, or we will continue struggle to open team up. Not sure our kids Kellyman /O Reilly is ready yet and Bhuendia is still months away.

Not sure our situation with FFP but finger crossed we have room, a no 10 is really needed.

RB and an actual creative #10, someone like Buendia that's different to Bailey/Diaby.

Totally agreed. If FFP doesn't allow us any signing, as a most demand and expensive type of players are creative No.10, maybe we take back Coultino for half a season and use rotate him with Tielenman, as Coultino won't be fit to play full many games.

  6. There was an interview with KDB saying that Pep prefer to sign players with “futsol/7 a side “ experience, as they have better ball control / skill than regular players.. essential skills to break teams down that packed the penalty box.. Now I understand the rationale

  7. You can clearly see how Sheffield players are in the penalty box, it's very difficult for our crosses to from Diaby to reach Watkin in with that so many bodies… we really need creative like The Bernado Silva/ Odergaad etc type players that have very closed ball control /vision that can unlock in this congested penalty box

Why have we won so many games then? ;)

Theres was a time team will attack us leaving space behind for our runners to explore.. Now even mid table teams will park the bus against us and we don't have a creative proper No 10 to unlock such low block team
