How we missed a proper No.10 ! 

In serial A , the pace is slow and there’s lots of space ( went to a Milan game Serial A couple of years back and left at half time as it felt like a friendly game).  It’s totally different here and the “trickery/ skills “ have to be faster/ crisper to be able to be effective.

Probably why no Italian player that move from Serial A is successful in recent times( please not the ancient Zola/Vialli etc). Someone said Balotelli / Tonali and even then they are subjective as won’t want this 2 character near our team. Their current national striker west ham Sacamecca was also shipped back after one season.With all these factors , really not confident he can make it. 

If we are serious about top 4 , Digne would not be good enough .. his only notable skill set is crossing and in this modern age football , left back are expected to contribute much more like driving into the box , drawing defenders onto them and opening space for other attackers… Digne neither have the dribbling skill / composure to do that and can’t wait for Moreno to be fit .. 

We really need JJ back asap , plus signed a quality no 10 to cover Buendia position… 

Have a feeling he’s the first bad player signed during Emery reign .. hope it’s the last 

There’s simply too crowded in their box to shot , you need players with skill & comfortable on the ball.. to creat space / angle to shoot… Bruno goal for Man U is perfect example .. 

Please Monchi , get us a proper No.10 in Jan .. 

As I said previously , with our league position most team will do a low block against us .. we currently have no 10 to play thru this.. hopefully Moreno can come in soon , at least he can cut in from left .. 

Digne even though can cross well , but is too predictable.. he should cut into box when there’s no defenders ahead of him .. all these old school crossing is not effective when we don’t have Carew / Benteke in the box 

Can’t see us breaking down Forest defense, need certain type of flair player with close ball control and quick thinking.. highly impressed with the Bruno goal for Man U last night , even though there were tons of Fulham’s players in front of him .. we haven’t got this type of player .. closest was Buendia 

I always feel we can’t break thru a low block/ park the bus team  , with our current squad.. 

We don’t have creative players ..

Honestly , I can’t remember any Italian player from Serial A being successful in the premier league in recent times ..

Someone should just point out to him that’s he’s currently playing as back up striker to a 5th position PL team and should be grateful. He won’t make the bench on the 4 teams above and neither for the next 3-4 teams beneath us , ok maybe Brenford

Long ball from the back , against a low block team hardly works.. 

We don’t really have a no 10 to play / carved thru a low block from the middle… 

What’s the point of that Zaniolo ?

I like Buendia, he was just too lightweight for me. 

Lightweight is never a problem, if the player have skill / vision and acceleration ( not raw speed over long distance, just burst into box etc ) especially in the position and role he playing, ala Bruno / Bernando Silva, Odergaad etc 

If he doesn't play on Thursday, there might some truth in it

Yes it’s illegal betting is a seriously problem world wide and have far reaching influence on games fixing/ money laundering/Tax evasion etc .  Last month , authority in Singapore just seized USD 2 Billion worth of assets from a syndicate that operates illegal gambling /off-shore betting website  and they are just only side kicks, not even the main guy yet.

Illegal betting/ off shore gambling sites is a plague that always leads to match fixing /extortion of players etc as they and will eventually kill the game.

I would rather have Buendia back than Zaniolo. Buendia is a creative No.10 and link midfield to attack , and can a crossed the midfield. We don’t have a like for like player to replace him to replace his role ( Luis is asked to do that but he’s never a 10). Zaniolo is different type of attacking midfielder/ winger and reportedly is strongest player on the right side , which we are currently quite well stock Diaby, Bailey , Traore etc
