How many shots we have in the second half ?? No surprise we are down .. 

We have no one creative to unlock a super low block team 

We are playing at turtle speed , giving teams lots of time to regroup 

That’s the downside of being a CL chasing side , most teams beside big 6 will parked bus and counter 

Just seen a report of our current wage bill % to revenue. CL is definitely important , as all the teams above us are all charged. 

Maybe the first half formation was tactical. Played our weaker ones first ( Duran/Rogers) knowing West ham will be tired in 2nd half after playing Thursday, & than unleashed our stronger player ( Diaby / Zaniolo ) against later in the game. 

We don’t have skillful player , with close ball control to break thru a low block.. 

Nothing change , we still don’t have players to break thru a low block .. 

Roger movement is too slow 

Langlet should not play in Konsa position, his right foot is too weak 

Should take Lenglet off and bring back Cash as RB & Konsa go back to usual position 

Rogers is way off Ramsey level

True , but it’s not fair to compare Luis this season stats to Buendia last season’s as all our players have improved under Emery this season, (oops maybe not Cash) and safely assume Buendia would have too, if he’s not injured. 

 

He’s closest to our version of Maddison/ Odegaad/ Foden etc. 

We became very one dimension ( wing play / counter attack) since he’s out and Youri/ Luis is not as creative / effective in his position. 

Spurs has a more complete team compare to ours , the have creative midfielders ( Maddison / Bentacur ), good DM ( Bisouma / Sarr) & good wingers / inside forwards ( Son / Johnson and Richardlison to return ). 
 
we are now only relying on long pass to Watkins or Bailey/ Diaby wing play / crossing … 

With our only creative midfielder Buendia out and only our potent left side Ramsey injured , we will definitely struggle

It’s really weird that no Italian attacking players have succeeded in the Premier League in recent times. Their current best Sacamacca / Moses Kean also flopped here. The only one with some relative successful is Balotelli, and that’s also subjective. 
 
Unless he’s an outlier, the odds is really against him. 

We did well , but need to work on how to defend headers , as Pau/ Lenglet were not great and fortunate Fulham are not good at headers. Not Luton though ..

Let’s hope we won’t end up like Utd , didn’t take our chance and than sucker punch ..
