  1. It's amazing, reading some Liverpool fans reactions they fail to see how the term "negro" is racist despite it's historical references to slavery. Oh, we all know Liverpool fans love to scream and maintain victim-hood at the hands of the FA but they are merely following precedent with this ban.

A month after the investigation began, the FA has ruled it has enough evidence to charge Suárez with an offence that, if proven, will lead to a substantial ban. A precedent was set in 2003 when John Mackie of Reading was banned for eight matches, five of which were suspended, after making racist remarks to the Sheffield United striker Carl Asaba. However, Mackie admitted that charge whereas Suárez is denying his, meaning he would almost certainly face tougher sanctions if he were found guilty.

  2. Disturbing that some so called 'fans' are trying to spread bollocks about fall outs etc, with no ounce of proof!

How about this, he was out buying Randy's xmas present. About as much merit as claiming he has fallen out with anyone.

Keep hearing about how he is going to be sold, why would anyone buy him when he's been shit, something people seem to be forgetting.

We've created less than last year but he's also missed a lot of the chances we've created for him!

    Indeed.

I saw McLeish look deeply worried and serious around the 80 minute mark. Sadly I don't have a screen shot of it. That picture proves nothing. A snap shot of many during a game.

the picture proves he was laughing, you dont have a picture showing what ever it is you claim.

i would be genuinely iunterested to know why you blindly support the most hated and crap manager this club has had since, well since i can remember, i include DOL, billy mcneill, graham turner, venglos and co in this as well.

I'm simply stating there's no context given for the smile just him smiling. The picture doesn't indicate for how long for etc. I'm not blindly defending McLeish as you so claim. Merely pointing out having a picture of McLeish smiling proves little when you have no clue as to what the context is.

Today was very poor, I've said throughout the match thread the fundamental problems we have in defence and how easily we gave the ball away today. Things were much worse under O'Leary. At least we haven't had a 3-0 against Doncaster. We don't have a good enough squad or simply McLeish isn't willing to try Cuellar or Clark and I really don't understand why.

I'm sick of seeing Collins and Dunne start every week.

  4. It's about time we stopped blaming Mcleish - name one manager that would come in and do well with this team. Lerner has turned it into this, our squad is very average.

Lerner has never managed the team, surely are defensive hangover from MON's over indulgence on ageing defenders on long contract. Defending set pieces has been a problem for the past 3-4 seasons.

This defence performed well for MON. Our vulnerability against set pieces crept in with Houllier. Hutton crept in with Eck.

We conceded plenty of goals from set pieces in MON's final season.
