Guys has anyone suggested Harold Shipman as a signing?
Do you mean Dr Harold Shipman? If yes what are you trying to say?

we have a LOT of players we really need to offload now, what do you think we can get for them?
- Chambers - 2m (if Torres is confirmed)
- Hause - 2m
- Nakamba - 2-3m
- Troare - 5-8m
- Sanson - 5-10m
- Davis - 2-3m
Anyone else we need to offload?
Coutinho?

This really is one of those signings (especially the fee) you see a big club make and wonder "what a shame we can't sign guys like that", isn't it?
The times they are a-changing.
Very true. I think some on VT, me included, need to review our view of Villa and where it sits in the “attraction scale” for other players.

I really do not like the idea of having no senior specialist right backs at the club. Cash is a converted winger with suspect defensive ability and Adams is not a specialist either.
Kenny Swain was converted from right midfield to right back and won the league and European cup.

We're now linked with Fati in Spanish media, reports suggest that we want him on loan with a view to a permanent deal
I think we have to keep an open mind over transfers now we have Unai &Co recruiting but I’m not holding my breath over this one.

You think he's a guaranteed starter?
I think he'll have to earn it
No one is a guaranteed starter they will all have to earn it.

I'm also a child of the 60s with memories of Hendrix, Clapton et al. And I liked The Monkees. They weren't a band, they were a TV show that actually became a band. They were all OK blokes, and made some good pop records. Nesmith went on to be a pioneer of country rock, one of my musical heroes.
Each to his own - my view is they were a plastic imitation but my younger sisters liked them.

Actually says Johan Lange is Global Director or Football Development and International academies, as well.
Following these senior - and I am sure expensive - appointments I am looking forward to our long term success on the pitch where it counts.

According to one report it said that but we have no confirmation of that aside from that. There were a few other social media people (low followers and no idea if reliable) saying he had rejected us. There were also a group of social media (generally small followers) saying he is coming, with various reasons from us offering 50% more than AB or he likes Emery’s project or he wants PL. So we know no more now than this morning. Nothing I have seen from anybody even half decent today.
Exactly, so now we have to wait for official comment. All the rest is b/s speculation.

It'd be a close one, but they'd certainly have to fork out a lot.
Digne ranks as the 23rd highest GDP nation on the planet at the moment.
Could be but what’s his debt to GDP ratio?

So I reckon it Would be Goncalves in for Buendia
Williams in for Bailey?
Based on the playing styles of the aforementioned.
Yes with Buendia and Bailey in squad providing competition/cover. Traore sold and Coutinho? ……. who knows.

Emery doesn't take breaks. He'll be at Bodymoor tomorrow night trying to figure out if we could have got 16 throw ins instead of 15 against Brighton. Some say he's not slept in 13 years, and that he puts lemon juice in his eyes to keep sharp. He may have been sent back from a dystopian Birmingham in the year 2050, when mankind is in a pitched battle against a robot uprising that has built a base below Spaghetti Junction.
If St Andrews has been reduced to rubble by then it won’t be totally dystopian.

Of course.
Here we all are, in the transfer thread, regurgitating their rumours and then moaning about it all and how journalists are fake/shit etc. Rinse and repeat every **** transfer window ever.

Is he rubbish now?
No, just not worth 80 million euros at this stage of his career.

Yes and Kamara would tidy up the mess.

Would have been an expensive back up here. Dendoncker could put up his stats in Portugal
Agreed. With Kamara and Luiz there is no need to spend 80 million euros on a young up and coming prospect.

No need to be sorry. We Villa fans have much to look forward to so I would rather think on that than the fortunes of a serial killer who may have killed hundreds of old people.
