The league cup winner was a screamer.

    RIP to a Villa legend.

Yes, what a night. Listening to the Everton fans singing “we all agree Everton are tragic …. tragic, tragic, tragic ……….. tragic.”

Dont know where else to put it mate but as i said if you READ it all, to make sure we have a team that stops this woeful record against these sides for years to come because it’s sickening.

We all know we have woeful record full stop. IMO we should look forward by debating ideas on players, tactics etc.. None of us should need reminding of past failings.

I’m playing catch up could anyone enlighten me as to what’s going on/ been said?

Best thing to do is to read the thread - not very helpful I’m afraid. Basically lots of negative speculation around Heck’s behaviour but little, if any, real proof.

Buy better players to improve our record against them? Or sign some of their players??

We should be doing that in any case. We don’t need our poor past performances to help us decide what to do. Those of us who have been supporting Villa as long as I have (approx 70 years) know this already.

‘The team most often beaten by Liverpool in league competition are Aston Villa; the Anfield club have beaten them 94 times out of 191’.

‘Manchester United have won 89 of their league matches against Aston Villa, the most Manchester United have won against any club’.

Do you know how much that frustrates me that BOTH of them teams have beaten us more than any other team in the league’s history 😤 thats why i hate them as much as i do I remember waiting 6/7 years to beat just one of them teams 😠 moving forward we need to make sure we have teams that are gonna get more wins against clubs like that because im sick of our record against these bast***d northern sides. Time to change this joke of a record and make new better history.

All very interesting but what has this to do with transfers ?

Isn't this literally the definition of hearsay? Which is not admissable in court because it isn't reliable.

It is hearsay so no case should be based on this. However this is social media where clearly substantiated truth seems to be of little importance. As the old saying goes “don’t spoil a good story by limiting yourself to truth and fact”.

If you have other player options then by all means say. There seems to be far too many on here that like to ridicule other posters but add nothing to the overall discussion themselves.

    Spot on, thank you.

Rabiot is trouble though he has worked with Unai before

Thanks for this. Given that Unai has worked with Rabiot before he will know the full extent of the “trouble” Rabiot brings so is best placed to make a judgement. If Unai thinks Rabiot is OK then fine by me.

If you are asking me then you should not have suggested a player you have no knowledge of......

I have some knowledge but you claim to know something I do not. Having complete and absolute knowledge on a subject is rare so share what you know. Your first reply to me on this subject makes me wonder just what you do know. So don’t prevaricate please tell all.

Gonna need to spend big now on a new DM this summer to plug the huge Kamara gap in midfield… I wonder if they’ll go youth option or more experienced now?

Adrien Rabiot out of contract this summer I think.

Cracking highlight reel that.  It does demonstrate a mad bravery about him. Looks good to me!

Yes, and now he will be getting an advanced course in shithousery from the master.

    Going big on youth.....

Remember all those years ago when Doug Ellis told us all “the future is youth”?

Sky are sneaky as hell, they add a few million on all our deals and then show an inflated net spend over the longer period, to paint a picture that suits their big six audience

It seems there is no end to their “bellendery”.

Probably, truth is no one, outside the club, really knows our true financial position.
