Another thing thats gone a bit unnoticed is how well Clark is playing, Dunne got caught out a couple of times and Clark was there to mop up, top performance so far!

Oh, and yes, i hope to god that l.young stays, its been so unfair the way he has been treated the last few years, he is one of our best players so its nice to see him playing and playing well today. Hope he stays.

when ive seen him play albrighton's crossing has been brilliant, im guessing its opening day nerves, plus its his first massive chance to show himself off to a huge audience so thats got to affect his performance surely? saying that though, he is playing absolutely brilliantly, apart from the one overhit cross he hasnt put a foot wrong imo.

Gotta echo it, we are playing amazingly well which is a good combo along with west ham playing woefully. Great to see Albrighton having a great start.

Someone dismissed it out of hand in the Mon Quits topic, but after hearing it mentioned and thinking about it, Bob Bradley is my choice, could potentially get us Donovan, his son and more. Top manager imo.

Yeah i went, was an average run of the mill game tbh, few notes on the match; downing's positioning and movement is really sharp but his final product is so so poor, so frustrating to watch yet i bet he will play nearly every match, albrighton was mesmerising, top notch stuff from him, up and down the line all evening and cutting in now and again, looks really sharp and nrc had a good game aswell, hopefully will get more involved this season. Valencia might have well not turned up, much like their fans.

On a side note, was my first time right in the nosebleeds at the top of the holte in with the 'crazies', never been there before, hopefully not going to be again, they must take it turns to pass the braincell around, a fight started between to scumbags who differed in their opinions of one jimmy milner. Stewards obviously did an awesome job and told the smaller guy he would be kicked out and left the brickwall thicko to his own devices.

Not that it wasnt too obvious or anything but i think i was right, they were wearing completely the wrong sizes at the kit launch, everyone must have been wearing XL or something, downing looked like a toddler who found his dads shirt in the drawer.

Looking at those photos above where the players appear to be wearing the correct sizes for them makes the kit look completely different to what we saw at the launch, in fact, for me personally, id go from saying it looked like our worst made nike kit to the best weve had so far, and yes, to the people who dont give a flying **** about our kit, i know that sounds completely stupid.

Stewie, I've got one last assignment if you want lol, could you re work the away kit so the claret checks are black, so only the blue checks remain, and change the whole sponsor to white, I reckon that would look miles better.

Just got back from the kit launch, like a lot on here, it was completely underwhelming tbh, ill keep my post as short as possible though with a few pics at the end.

Home: Really like the actual design, what really lets it down is either due to it being a poorly fitted design as it looks really big and baggy or it may have been that the players modelling it werent wearing the right sizes.

Away: Really doesnt sit right with me, i think it would looks tons better if the sponsor was just in white, the red looks awful.

GK: Havent got any thoughts, dont like it, dont hate it, just 'meh'.

Hopefully when they go on sale they will be a bit more tailored and have that 'fitted' look, if they are the baggy things we saw today then im not buying.

HTC Wildfire is basically the desires little brother, it has a smaller, lower res screen and is a bit less powerful, but it does look just that bit nicer than its big brother as it has a silver strip running round the back.

Home is rumoured to be based on the current Dutch kit with either a blue stripe down the side or a chequred design down the side.

Away kit is rumoured to be black, with the white away kit from last season as our third kit.

I know there arent that many but which games would most users say are the best (fun/production wise)?

Ive actually done the kit minus the stripes on the sides and the away (now the 3rd kit) on pes 2010 with the new sponsor and tagline and it actually doesnt look that bad at all, maybe its because im getting used to it i suppose.

looks like he's taken the shirt to one of those 'we can print anything on your shirt/mug/plates for cheap' type places. Just looks off.

Out of interest, can you even buy that shirt without a sponsor? or would it have to be taken/peeled off?
