Hodgson, despite his success at getting England through. Is another yes man, a pleaser.
I bet if Ferguson told him to stick Wes Brown up front he'd do it
-
I have no idea if Gabby deserves to be called up for England, but I'd suggest Welbeck doesn't deserve it based on his league appearances, form and goal-scoring.
What has he done to deserve a place?

It looks like a sex toy.
you want locking up, thats my childhood innocence

I've played this online with no problems at all and my broadband is medicore (live in a village) The only annoying thing is the people you play, 9/10 pick Barcelona or Real Madrid. I either resort to picking Motherwell and let them feel great about themselves or pick Germany and cane them.
It does spoil it however, the other annoying thing is in the ranking games you cannot use the chat facilty - therefore you cant call them clearings in the woods when they pick the best team

We get it Risso. You don't rate him.
Apologies for giving my opinion on Ron Vlaar in a thread about Ron Vlaar.
This is not the thread for apologising for giving an opinion on Ron Vlaar in a thread about Ron Vlaar. I suggest you create an alternative thread for that.

Interesting that he's been given No. 27.
I'm very pleased with our signings this summer, I'm still hoping though that AM comes in. Looking unlikely though.
Not suggesting he is straight to the bomb squad?

Replacement for N'Zogbia.
nobody can replace charles

There is nothing wrong with his range of passing. He just hasn't really shown it here so far. At Feyenoord his passing ability was one of the best in their team.I think he can do a job and he did a great one yesterday, but he'll always be limited by his range of passing
The dutch league is proper shit though
The English league would be without any imports (I disagree about the dutch league btw)

The nutty one seems to be very quiet about the player now, I think shes had a warning from the club.
Only the odd Jehovah posts now.
Strange she said that the club wanted the fans to know about the lies from the media, yet now she says her information does not come from the club.

Apparently "the unreliable one" on twitter has admitted to lying about it.
What has she said?
If anybody quotes it will take down the internet

Villa fans make their feelings known with some less-than-complimentary chants about the absent Belgian #avfc
"no famous belgians, there are no famous belgians...no famous belgians..."

The muppet doesn't wanna play for our club that in mind our team will always look stronger with players that want to play for the shirt not clearing in the woods like cunteke. Our squad is desperately weak without Benteke
It's the name at the front of the shirt that matters not the one on the back.
dumn de dum de dum... talk like an egyptian

If it's a choice between Le Arse and Chelski then I'd prefer it to be Le Arse. At least Wenger has stuck to his principles of trying to develop young players, whereas Chelski have bought success in a classless manner. Arsenal have heritage, Chelksi are more like a chavvy lottery winner.
If he does leave for the Emirates, I hope it's after the opening day of the season though.
If he leaves, I don't give a crap where he goes.

Haha, why is Sylla in the back seat!?
Kiyotake is sat next to Benteke
-
we will end up with Popov.
I wouldn't be disappointed with that, he's a superb player

Bump!Who is Julie b by the way?
Julie Bayley - if you search for Kiyotake you can't miss her.
She used to post on here quite a bit and always seemed fairly normal I thought.
Twitter seems to have caused her some difficulties as she is now prone to some odd posts (he said very kindly).
She loves the Villa no doubt but has a strong propensity towards believing conspiracy stories.
Says she is ITK but has been rarely (if ever) borne out in reality
I always enjoyed what Julie wrote, better than most and normal. It's a pity she felt it better to leave, same with thetrees.
Think she may be on the sauce tonight, reading that twitter thread!

Free transfer usually means big wages
my wife is struggling to find work after being made redundant, I'll tell her that her wage demands are probably unreasonable

I'm delighted by the progress so far and we have a lot of reasons to be happy looking forward
But I'll play devils advocate a bit because all of this Villa fan optimism is making me uneasy (and there is a wee bit of truth to this): we have signed a bunch of unproven youngsters to go with our unproven youngsters who were craving some experience last season. We haven't ACTUALLY plugged the gap that we were all shouting and screaming about last season
But aren't the likes of lowton and Westwood experienced now? I'd argue we've added unproven players to proven PL players (everyone who played last year and came out of the season with their head held high)
darn beat me to it - that was the crucial thing about us staying up. Our youngsters now have a year under the belt.

You're making things up, since when has vlaar had bad knees??Meh, it's a tradition for Villa to have a CB with dodgy knees, it just wouldn't be right if we didn't have one. But hopefully those nightmare knee problems won't trouble him too much. Cross fingers.
It's a bullshit rumour that he is injury prone, started on here by people that don't rate him

I rate Vlaar highly, but he his injury prone no question. Specifically he has regular calf problems that tend to recur. Concrete Ron is possibly our best defender but we need at least 2 new Central Defenders to provide both cover & competition amongst themselves in this vital position.
He has been here for one season, and got one calf strain, prob due to the change in speed of playing prem football. That is hardly injury prone, and I doubt Lambert would have signed him if he was.
As a Villa player, at the moment I'd class him as injury prone. He missed a huge chunk of our season and he has form with his previous club. (Not that the injuries are probably related or blame the player - but he has had them)

Not sure why I opened the thread up again just now, but still chokes me.
I bet Paddy has been enjoying the last few weeks. Off topic is not the same.
