Bertrand had joined in with the rest of the team in being a bit cack by the end of last season so it's not surprising he wasn't purchased.

Obviously hindsight will tell you that may not have been totally his fault.

The Brigada sit in L7/L8, supposedly very good to sit by.

 

Played for Forest and Brighton, and he was 22 at the start of the season so don't see how he can play for us.

He has to be U21 on the 1st January of the year the season starts. He was 21, it's whether it is strictly U21 or includes 21

For me there are some good out of contract players to go for.............. How realistic they would be to come to villa or whether wed pat the going rate Im not sure....... but certainly people like Micah Richards is worth a shot, maybe even Glen Johnson and a really ambitious shout would be Konoplyenka from Kiev if he hasnt already gone elsewhere....... 

 

At centre back, id spend some ££ on Shawcross or someone of that ilk.............

Was meant to be on training this afternoon, so I told them to call any time this afternoon as I could just leave the training. Training gets cancelled so I'm on my desk. Quiet afternoon, like 3 calls. Call rings while I'm with a customer and I miss it again. They'll probably give up after 2 attempts. Que frantically trying to call back, my phone isn't letting me. Absolutely gutted.

I can't get anyone to sign for me. I never have the wages they want. I tried to sign Ayew who was valued at 7 million so I offered 6 then 7, then 8, and finally they said they wanted 24. Like that is a massive jump! Then when Delph went out injured, I wanted to get Darida 

as his replacement and they wanted 30 million for him! Where do they get these numbers?! I forget who it was, but he was valued at 2 million so I offered that and the cpu responded with 12. It's ridiculous and they never accept anything under. I couldn't even get Sinclair on loan cause City won't accept the wage terms and I can't afford anything else. 

Would you accept an offer for a player you didn't want to sell that was less than their value?

I don't get the Sinclair bit,  he already had an agreed transfer when I started...
