  1. Friend of DOL, sums it up nicely I think

Surely the word filter should have changed this to "word removed" or can we get the word filter to change the phrase "word removed" to this as they mean the same thing

  2. General,

I'd just like to add my thanks to those already posted for the generous and somewhat expensive) gesture made by the club.

Please forward fullsome praise to all responsible in the decision making process.

And further thanks for still being here after 1000 posts some of which must have been frustrating to write and for continuing to meet with us here during your convalesence, hopefully back to full fitness soon so we can welcome you back to VP properly

  3. OhhhhhhhKay,

Got home had a nights sleep to reflect on what I saw last night.

Unfortunately some of it goes back to the Wigan game, well it would as it was in essence the same team and formation. The exceptions

Guzan not Friedel - no problem there really.

Carew not Gabby - no problem there either.

So what was the problem. He was the bogey man for 18 months, redeemed himself last season but has started this season appallingly, step up Stan Petrov.

Slow, lethargic, passing range of Mark Draper, what's happened, this is not the example Delph needs, where was the drive, the urgency.

oh yes, p.s. What exactly does Heskey bring to the table?

  4. This is at the bottom of todays "Gossip" column on the BBC football page

    priceless

    AND FINALLY

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has defended his decision to turn down a move for Wilson Palacios in 2007 - even after Spurs paid Wigan £12m for the Honduras international. "I saw Wilson play in a Birmingham Cup game against Banbury and he looked OK, nothing more than that." (Daily Mail)
