  1. In that case he has been on top form for just about a year now, since he first broke into the team.. :winkold:
  2. The thing is, I now something needs to happen. Preferably refurbish Goodison but the club claim it's not possible or viable, when it has been proven it is. I wouldn't even mind moving, but only to the right place, and Kirkby ain't it.
  3. Attendences for the first season in a new ground go up - FACT. If we perform well on the pitch, like we have done recently, we were getting 39000 odd every week - basically selling out. So if we get new ground, and performances on the pitch, I'd expect pretty decent attendences, but I guess you have to loo and I know many people who won't go if it happens, probably myself included.
  4. The whole reason we want this stadium is because it costs us next to nothing. But the whole plan is crap, you won't be able to park within 2-3 miles of the stadium, there are only one train station to accomodate for a 50000 ground. There is basically one road in and one road out.How are the fans meant to access it? Goodison is one of the easiest grounds to get away from in that it is in built up housing, so ma ny different roads to go down and you can head in any direction. All the fans will basically be heading bac into the city and have almost no way of getting there. It's ridiculous, stupid and cheap. We won't even own the bloomin thing so could be kicked off at any point and I don't want to move. The whole thing sucks. The only slight upside is that when the ground gets the go ahead, that is when investors will start bidding for us because they will now the ground move is secured and they can look to the future. I don't want to leave
  5. That really doesn't happen though It actually does though.. :?
  6. That's the thing though, you go anywhere across Europe and say your from Liverpool and they just assume you support Liverpool, when you tell them your an Everton fan they are like "Why you support them when you got Liverpool?". It happens right across England too, as soon as your from Liverpool - your a Liverpool fan thats what everyone seems to think..
  7. I don't want anyone to kiss arse cos I'm here. I'd rather everyone was honest with there opinions, and reading this thread I think everyone is so I dont see what your getting at :?
  8. No, I don't mind Everton at all. Boro are completely non-existant imo, anyone ever met a fan of theirs outside Boro, they do exist right? Funny as it sounds, One of my friends supports them and he is from here, his dad is from Boro though.
  9. Your putting us on a par with Boro? I feel sick...:|
  10. I can't knock him off the pitch though. He has raised £16million so far, out of a target of £20million for some hospitals in Manchester over the last few years.
  11. You just point, shout and be ugly a lot. Phil is a champion at that
  12. To be fair to Phil Neville, I am probably his biggest critic, but he has been good lately...:|
  13. Right went on an Everton forum, first thread I found on him I ain't even reached bottom of the first page I'm not trying to change your mind but just giving our views on him.
  14. Go and say that on an Everton forum... Trent, there has been rumours he is not happy with playing LB and that if he dont start playing CB he will hand in a transfer request in Jan. He has come out and denied it all and says he wants to stay and he seems pretty happy. Think it's just a dip in form. He's been a bit better recently, a bit...
  15. See it makes me laugh right here, our 2 best players probably at present are Jagielka and Pienaar and none would have them. Funny little world. Sorry Kurt but Yobo and Jagielka are both excellent and compliment each other perfectly. Last season Lescott walked every award going cos he was simply unbelivable at left back. Not at same standard this year though, not at all.
  16. Sod National Service, we have a very professional army and it doesn't need crims or wasters. I didn't mean put them directly in the army, I meant make more prisons more like army camps, or something like that.
  17. I am in some ways but not in others so I'm undecided. I'm all for national service for criminals/unemployed (thos who dont even try and get a job I mean) though...
  18. And how is Andy van der Meyde doing? Don’t get me wrong; Moyes and Smith have bought some great players (Gravesen, etc, etc); but like any club (Villa being pretty guilty) of buying some utter dross. The notion that a £6m doesn’t suit the league and plays only one game, suggests that at times the scouts get it spectacularly wrong... To be fair to VDM, he has had serious issues off the pitch and some bad injuries. His daughter is still in hospital I think and it's been over a year since she was born. Your right though. every club does it. Moyes admitted he was wrong on Kroldrup. But I'll let him off because he has way more good buys than bad.
  19. Funny that, we still managed to finish 5th without him for 6 months of last season. I agree he is our most important player though.
  20. Alex Nyarko was signed by Walter Smith, not Moyes, and to be fair, he was pretty decent, just a bit odd in the head.. Per Kroldrup just didn't suit the league. Especially that 4 nil against you lot at Villa Park, the only game he started at us - any surprise. Although you did get flippin lucky cos Baros did the most blatant handball I think I have ever seen
  21. £6million for Cahill, Arteta and Pienaar is just crazily good.
  22. Because he has been injured. We have missed him badly. He weren't fully fit yesterday, hence he was on the bench. He has started every game he has been fully fit. He is incredibly consistent so that has no truth.
  23. To be fair, we did play some fantastic football last season. Compared to the usual dross I'm used to seeing. I think Pienaar had a lot to do with it.
