What a great day........result!!!

Hope he's experiencing a bit of brummie hospitality with an internal examination at BHX........here's hoping;-)

It will be very interesting to see how things pan out if there are no firm offers that meet Villa's valuation in the next couple of weeks . £25 million cash may well put Delboy Levy off and other than Spuds I can't see another offer coming in from the "bigger" clubs and Benteke needs regular first team football which only Spuds can realistically offer.My only concern is if Suarez leaves L'pool , will that change the transfer merry-go-round. The scousers were happy to part with some serious dosh for Caroll so they may do the same again.

It's going to end in tears as I think PL isn't about to be messed about particularly after putting his neck on the block with the Darren Bent saga.Will he show that famed Glaswegian Grit?....here's hoping!!

I look at Weimann and Westwood and they obviously see the bigger picture .I've never seen or heard a Benteke interview but I guess he just doesn't get what Lambert is trying to build or his agent is hellbent on cashing in on his prized asset.It just goes to show how far Villa have fallen over the past couple of years when Spuds appear to be a more attractive proposition .Crazy days.....sad times.

Been a Villa fan for 42 years.I have enjoyed checking out this site and hope to contribute with a balanced view on every day events at this great club.
